I've seen Jericka at TRiM salon twice for highlights and twice for haircuts. She listens, collaborates and then delivers to my expectations so that I always leave very happy! The haircuts especially have been truly excellent.
Jericka and the other staff at TRiM are cheerful and friendly, and I enjoy the salon itself too -- a lovely, relaxing space, but also functional and clean (with changing artwork, a nice touch).

I have waited 2 weeks to submit my review and I'm glad I did. I felt that Jericka cut my hair too short. My hair is thin and sparse and for volume, I need more hair. However, I must admit that it is growing out beautifully and in another week or so, it will look great. I also had my hair coloured, the first time in years, and I am very happy with the look and feel of my hair.
I appreciated the long consultation I had with Jericka before she started work. She is clearly a very experienced professional. The bonus hand treatment was nice, but unnecessary.
Sadly, I will not be returning

Genuinely THE best haircut I've ever gotten. Jericka is an artist. She consulted me on what I wanted beforehand, understood everything so we were on the same page, and then delivered better than I ever thought possible. I've never had a hairdresser deliver the way she did, it was sublime and now I can't imagine going anywhere else! I can't recommend her and the salon enough.

I used to live and work on Main Street so I started to go to TRIM when it opened. I moved away and have not been back in about 6 years. I was surprised to see it was under different management but I really enjoyed the same calm soothing environment. The staff were all very nice and my hairdresser, Brooke really listened to what I was hoping for and bounced some ideas with me. So grateful I impulsively made an appointment for a haircut here yesterday with Megan. I'd been avoiding salons since my last poor and expensive experience several months ago in Kits. I immediately felt like I was in good hands when I sat down in the chair. Megan took the time to review photos of my ideal cut and discussed some options that would work with my hair type. Afterward she washed my hair and included a scalp massage (OMG just what this new mama needed) then went to work on the cut and style. She even took the time to show me how to blow dry and style my new layers based on my preferences

I had never been to Trim before so I called and was fortunate to get a last minute appointment. I got in to see senior stylist Megan and I am really pleased with the result. Megan did a classic bob for me and although I suppose it's a straightforward style, I really appreciated the way that she approached the cut. I like getting a cut by a stylist that approaches the whole head as opposed to "nibbling" on one side for for half an hour and I like to feel that I have really gotten a cut when I leave. Megan is a very good stylist and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

I have been on the hunt for a salon in Vancouver for a while, and TRiM is it!
I saw Anna for a cut last month, and it's still holding up great. Anna was super friendly, very professional and we were able to come up with a style together that looks amazing.
The salon has a very comfortable atmosphere, and I felt at ease immediately.
The products they use are awesome, they smell amazing!
Anna mentioned they offer touch ups in between visits, which is great. So I will check that out in the next couple of weeks!

Jarred is the bomb! He spent over an hour with me, making sure my unruly mid-back curly hair-spray shellaqued fro became a spunky easy to manage, curly shaggy bob. Free fringe trims & a guarantee to fix anything that didn't sit right when I got home. Staff were super friendly also! I think I found my hairs' home/happy place :)

I visited Trim for the first time today, and I was very impressed with the service. Over the past 15 years or so, I've frequented a few reputable hair salons in Vancouver and this one is up there.
Emilie cut and streaked my hair. I showed her a picture & she looked at my current "do", which ended up in a great color & cut. She modified my hairstyle slightly, explaining what she thought would look good and checking if I agreed with the changes before making them. In the end, I was completely satisfied with my hair. I highly recommend Emilie if you're looking for a hair

After a bad haircut 4+ years ago, i haven't trusted ANYONE with my hair. Finally, noticing how dry and brittle my ends were and expressing to my partner how bad i needed a haircut she surprised me with an appointment at Trim with Jocelyn.
In the past I've ONLY gone to salons who specialize in ethnic hair and made the mistake of a "regular" salon 4+ years ago, so you can understand my nerves prior to arriving at Trim.
Jocelyn listened to me and assured me she knew what she was doing. After sitting in her chair i let my wall down and let Jocelyn do what she thought was good

My mom swears by this place. She kept telling me about her amazing experience with Trim Hair Salon. I am glad I listened and went in. The staff are super friendly. What I liked is the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I am super happy with the cut I got.
