I’ve been seeing David for approx 9 months or so after my wife recommended him. He’s a master technician of his craft and a damn nice guy to boot.
You come to Capelli’s for an experience. The staff are all consummate professionals, very polite, friendly, and attentive.
David trains an oversees the development of several of his staff too. Think of this place where qualified stylists also take on apprenticeship roles to develop themselves into seasoned pros under guidance of the best.
I can’t recommend Capelli’s highly enough.

They use top quality products and if you want, they will advise you on what are the best products for your scalp and hair… I say “if you want”, because their goal is to help.

Had a color correction session with one of the accomplished hairstylists. She was a nice and polite lady. However she was not too experienced with my type of hair. Wasn’t satisfied with the final results. Took her 4 hours just to bleach out my entire neck-length hair. Finally, colors did not get blended to each other properly. I was able to see a clear boundary between the bleached-and-dyed hair and dyed roots. Got charged 600$ for that mess. Although the session took 7 hours, the lady was nice enough to charge me just for 4 hours and as much as she had told me in the consultation session. She

I had the best long haircut experience with David! All you long hair girls this is your guy- he is amazing and delivers exactly what you want! He listened to everything I wanted and we even got to have a few laughs! I love the way my hair is finished and feel like I should be going out on a hot date! Trust him with your long locks for sure! Kara is AMAZING hairstylist! She takes her time to listsn to what the client wants and expect and she explains everything also being honest and realistic about how much work we will need to put in desire hairstyle and how it will look like on our hair texture. She is super nice, sweet and does exactly what you want on your head. Never had a better hairstyle than I have now and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I am very impressed, will be back for sure! 🖤

After paying a compliment to another woman's hair, I asked her who cuts it for her and she said "David at Capelli". So, I immediately booked an appointment with him as my grown out hair needed some love. David is an incredible precision cutter and amazing stylist; Not only that, it was enjoyable to spend time in his chair. The salon is stunning, the rest of the people there are friendly, and David is a cool human. If you want to talk, cool. If not, cool. My hairdresser of 15 yrs retired and I was scared to try a new one- read reviews and decided to try Capelli (near my home)- I went today- WOW! I had a great experience - everyone was kind and welcoming - I had a cup of tea, a square of chocolate and a great experience! Stevie really listened to what I wanted and then gave me a great haircut!! So happy I have a new hair salon that really works for me! I will go back!

I had been needing a trim for a long time and finally one morning decided to see if I could make an appointment for that day on my lunch break (I'm very last minute with these things). I called a few salons and none could take me in, but when I called Capelli at 1pm - which I had known about because I walk it on my lunch break often, they were able to fit me in at 1:30pm for a trim! They said Nicole could take me in for a trim or I could wait for a more Senior stylist at 5:15pm, but again, I am impulsive and went for the sooner one before I changed my mind and let my split ends look any more

I've been getting my hair looked after by the owner of Capelli for many years and he is the best in Vancouver. I simply refer to David as the Hair God. He is a true master, perfectionist, meticulous to the details and with great talent - I meet so many people from their compliments about my haircuts. Tanya, the queen of Capelli and David's spouse, is the heart of the salon, she always sharing pastries on weekends, being attentive and lovely, chatting with her is like catching up with a bestie. Andrea is the only person you will ever need to go to for amazing hair. I have the thickest and the coarsest hair and he understood what worked best for my hair type and he magically fixed my original mangled cut. Andrea says he's cutting half an inch off and he does JUST THAT. I am amazed by his hair glory and his genuine personality. That is all.
