Welcome to our Surrey Dental Office - we're very happy you found us. We're a family dental practice that takes a great deal of pride and satisfaction in providing the highest standard of care. Our entire staff is dedicated to helping your family achieve and maintain the best possible oral health. Part of that includes going out of our way to make your visits as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Our Dentists are all dedicated professionals who excel at providing compassionate, high quality dental care. Here's a little information about the dentists at our dental clinic in Surrey. Dr. Maru was the recipient of annual student award from the American Academy of Periodontology and later became a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Sapana Thakore is a Surrey Dentists who graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. Prior to dental school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. She is a member of the Vancouver & District Dental Society, and both the BC and Canadian Dental Associations.
Dr. Alice Kim is passionate about taking care of patients' oral health. Her gentle personality and approach to dentistry has helped many patients overcome their dental anxiety. Dr. Kim obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of British Columbia and then completed her general practice residency training in the Bronx, New York, one of the most undeserved areas in the US.
Dr. Austin Chen was born in Taiwan, and immigrated to Canada at a young age. Dr. Chen was raised in Surrey, and obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) as well as his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Chen also completed an additional hands-on oral surgery externship at the University of the Pacific - Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.

From the time you are greeted to when you are seated in the CHAIR you know you have come to the right place.
Dr. Thakore and her assistant put you at ease and are so personable. Everything is explained step by step with patience and calmness.
I've had as much as a 3 hour session and I can tell you it has been challenging but I have never felt any pressure or felt rushed. As a patient you can trust you are in good hands
and are getting the best care and advice for your dental needs from all the staff.

Have you ever looked in the mirror AFTER visiting a dentist to see a broken tooth? After visiting this office, I can say I have!
Absolute WORST experience at any dental office ever. On my first visit they aggressively cleaned my teeth so hard it was painful. Then, after telling me how lucky I was to have such nice teeth and importing x-rays from my previous dentist they decided to take more (charge more $$$). When the head dentist came over to inspect my teeth, she also commented on how nice they were and couldn't identify any problems.
Imagine my horror looking into the mirror when I woke-up

If I could I wouldn't even rate them 1 I would give 0 . Earlier today I had a phone call from the Dental Group at Central City pertaining to a bill that I had told them that I would come in last week to pay I proceeded to tell the office manager that I was unable to come last week to pay it but I would come on Thursday and make a payment in full she proceeded to threaten me and telling me how I was lucky that they didn't send my bill to collections , and how she could have put interest on it if she wanted too. Might I add when my daughter had gone to the dentist they had told me that she was fully

I love this dental office. The entire staff is friendly, efficient, and sincerely caring! They ALWAYS get me in super fast so they can perform necessary adjustments as needed. Dr. Thakore and Dr. Shon are always professional and extremely adept in every way. The support staff always treat me with the utmost respect and are empathetic to my needs. Once again KUDOS to this office, I am in good hands with them at all times.

I had a toothache from one of my wisdom teeth. I was in pain and needed assistant right away. My original dentist wouldn't take me in, but gave me suggestions on other dentists. I called this location and they were able to take me in almost right way. i got x-rays and set up an appointment to get my tooth removed. I was thrilled to know that they knew my situation and got me in as soon as they could. Very friendly. Highly recommend them!!!

I've posted a review before, but I accidentally deleted it somehow. Regardless, my review hasn't changed. I've been a patient here for the past 2 years. I've had some minor work done by Dr. Thakore. Dr. Thakore is a wonderful dentist. She is professional, knowledgeable, and personable. She made all my visits comfortable and painless. She always puts me at ease, so I never dread visiting the dentist anymore. :) Also, all the staff I've encountered have been professional, friendly, and accommodating.

I went for teeth cleaning with my daughter, it was her first visit with a dentist. I knew they would be great with her but they were beyond my expectations - provided an educational video, let her play with a dino and brushed his teeth, gave a goody bag with teeth care supplies and stickers. One of the staff members took the time to play with her while I was getting my teeth cleaned. My husband and I have been going to Dr Sebastian for our dental care for years - never been disappointed. I went over here for a wisdom extraction and I’m a kind a person that freaks out and gets extra nervous when it comes to any kinds of dentistry procedures, but they kept on speaking to me during the procedure, making me feel relaxed a little that made my first experience over here, Wonderful. I’d like to go over here as a primary dentist for myself.
