A bone graft is a procedure that replaces missing bone with material from the patient's own body or an artificial, synthetic, or natural substitute. The main function of a bone graft is that, over a period of time, the jawbone associated with missing teeth atrophies or is reabsorbed. This often leaves a condition in which there is poor quality and quantity of bone suitable for the placement of dental implants or for properly fitting dentures.
The process of creating a bridge begins by creating abutments out of your existing teeth where the bridge will be attached. A dental bridge is a restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth. It extends across an area that has no teeth, and is typically made up of an artificial tooth fused between two crowns.

Dr. Maru and his entire practice are the best of the best. Me,my family and friends will always go here regardless of where we live in Vancouver. His skill is beyond any other Dr./specialist! I've had treatment plans performed by Dr. Maru and his team which others thought to be impossible to achieve, his skill and determination has allowed these "impossible" treatments to be successful.

I had an appointment booked today for my wife and things have turned out to be a little sour, I brought my wife there coz I thought it was a good place having had myself something done couple of weeks ago, but for her appointment they were supposed to do an exam and a cleaning but after the exam they came with there was no hygienist available, so why did they not let her know at the first place? And that is what she asked them, so they started (staffs) to bla bla on her and even the dentist even had racist comments toward her. Extremely professional and welcoming staff. Dr. Lauren Chang took time to explain my diagnosis and various alternative courses of action. I didn't feel pressured and was given ample time to make my decision. The work she did was great. The lady assisting her (sorry, forgot her name) was awesome too. She was constantly checking to see if I was okay during the procedure and giving encouraging words and tips on what to do, which is huge in that kind of setting. From start to finish they did an absolutely amazing job.

I was introduced to Surrey Place Dental over 2 decades ago. Over that time a lot of my friends have made SPG their dental centre of choice mainly because their professionalism, their facility and their caring service.
I am writing this review as a reminder to everyone to get out and see your dentist on a regular basis. I know a lot of people are like me and only see the dentist when something is wrong but sometimes that approach can not only be more expensive and painful but can even be fatal.
I recently developed an abscess and the infection had spread so fast in the course of less than 12 hours

Dr. Islur is the best. He's really friendly and always puts me at ease. I'm not the biggest fan of going to the dentist but he always makes the experience as relaxing and stress free as possible. The only negative is that their office is in Surrey and I live in Vancouver now so it's a bit of a drive to get out there. Highly recommended.

SPDG is hands down the best dental office I've ever been too. The staff and dentists alike are extremely kind and have a natural ease at making sure you're feeling nothing but comfortable from the time you enter to the time you leave. The dentists take a straight forward honest approach when it comes to your treatment, but also do an amazing job at making sure you're feeling at ease the entire time. This is a dental office I actually look forward going to and I couldn't recommend it enough.

This Dental Group is the best! I have moved 40 minutes away and still travel here for all my dental needs. The front staff is great, and I keep coming back for Dr. Lowen and his assistant Dagny. They are so professional, knowledgeable, kind, funny, welcoming and thorough. I actually enjoy going to the dentist because of them (seriously, they feel like friends!). I can't imagine ever switching dentists!
