They make awesome canadian and authentic Chinese food. They are our go to location for Chinese cuisine. Their service is great and preparation is fast. Their indoor dining facilities are very spacious with large round tables for larger parties. The decor is simple, yet classy. Perfect for hosting large scale events when the covid restrictions ease up. I highly recommend them.

It's disappointing when we, concerned consumers are making extra efforts to support our local businesses during these very trying time. We all know that small businesses throughout Canada are strugling with making ends meet... BUT when your business revolves around providing good food to paying customers and you put NO EFFORTS into your finished product. You should close your doors and seek another business venture. This was the third and final attempt to receive a good experience by this restaurant. (Which is unfortunate cause the front end staff are awesome)

I have had the Dim Sum here several times. Nothing less than spectacular. Shiu Mai, Shrimp Dumplings and BBQ beef bun. A little soy sauce and it is totally satisfying and delicious. 18 dollars but well worth it, highly recommend their Dim Sum. Sat and Sunday.

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant east of Toronto -I'd include Toronto only if I had eaten in more Chinese restaurants in Toronto to qualify me to comment on Toronto's Chinese restaurant scene. Having lived in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong over the years, I cannot say enough about how good this restaurant is. Real hand-made noodle. Go before they loose the chef!

I was disappointed in this place although thank god I did not pay for it. At work had a takeaway day and asked us to choose a menu and I chose code I which was the beef although was not certain how the options would fare. When it arrived the day it did what I got was a load of rice, a small amount of meat, and broccoli. The beef was actually very greasy and gristly and the food and sauces bland. Little or no tang to the food. Nothing tart, sharp, spicy or even sweet to detect. I am not saying good food should be overly spicy and a blend of flavors is important although this had none, subtle or

My family and I (3 people) decided to try May Garden for the first time. When we entered the restaurant it looked very clean and professional. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waitress wasn't very loud or clear and not super friendly. She got us our drinks quickly and asked us to order.

We order the pupu platter, and then the dinner for three. The pupu platter came out within probably ten minutes. The chicken wings that came with it were in some broth type sauce, but the meat was dry and stringy. The rest of the food in the platter was just ok. The meats didn't have much

Called and place order on Dec 30 for pick up on Dec 31st at 7:45. Total order came to $154. We arrived early (7:30) in case there was a line up. We did not receive order till 8:30. When we got home to we found that we were missing half the order. Called and said they would credit us what was missing. However that didn't work since we had family waiting to eat. Drove all the way back to get missed part of order while those who could eat did so. My husband's food sat there getting cold and soggy since he was the driver for the evening. Once again returned home only to find that our food

Well, I've been traveling around Canada. I've visited so many restaurants. It's true that most good restaurants are either in Vancouver or Toronto.

However I have to call this one of the worst restaurants. I went there for dinner

There are 13 slices of meat and it's 20 dollars plus tax. Not mentioning the taste is awful.

I don't wanna say bad words but it's really not recommended to go there for dinner. I haven't tried its breakfast.

What a wonderful Chinese restaurant, I would consider it a hidden gem! We went for Dim Sum on Father's Day, and loved it so much that we had to come back for dinner the next night. Incredible Lobster and Halibut, we lucked out as they do not always have these offerings on short notice! The cab ride out was a little pricey as we were staying in downtown Halifax, but if you want real Chinese style dim sum and seafood this is the place! Incredible 20 ft LED tv, and banquet facility for big parties, karaoke too!

I hadn't been to the May Garden in years and this was the first time I visited the Mill Cove location, so I was eager to see how their food compared with the Fung Wah.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is that it is massive, close to the length of a football field, and then there are the large chandeliers as well as a big screen TV right by a large stage. Not surprisingly, the restaurant holds major functions such as weddings and large birthday parties on a regular basis.

May Garden has a large selection of items and for those that are not interested in Chinese food, there is

Ordered take out last night. When placing my order, I had to direct the employee that I was speaking with where to find the items that I was ordering on the menu. Since I went over each item with him, you would think that the order would be correct. Nope! Got honey garlic chicken balls instead of wings. Further, the Cantonese chow main which is listed as a chef's special and is my most favourite dish ever was flavourless. My husband ordered shrimp in lobster sauce and said it was just ok. The won ton soup was very good but a small bowl was $6.15 which is pretty pricey.

Overall, we weren

Cold Food, Bad Service.

I'll start by saying that this restaurant just recently opened and my family decided to try it out for a birthday. It turned out to be a "Birthday Bust."

The decor in the building itself is beautiful, very spacious, and very fresh, unlike their other restaurants. The bathrooms are absolutely beautiful as well. Once you get past the decor though, that's where the beauty ended.

The service, although there were only about 7 small tables being served, was very slow. I'd hate to see what it's like if it was actually busy. There was one female
