I never write reviews, but I had to for this place to just say thank you! I came here for the first time based on amazing things I've heard about this salon and seeing their work - and this salon truly lives up to it! I got my hair done with Nicole and she was incredible and is so good at her craft. I showed her a picture of what I wanted to get done and she explained what would be the best way to go about it to get the result. Throughout the process she explained step by step what she was doing and why, and was really honest about everything and what products to use to take care of my hair, etc

I have been going to Lisa since 2016 and her service and that of her team has always been exceptional! Lisa really takes her time to understand what you're hoping to achieve with your hair and is also honest in what can and cannot be done depending on the status of your hair (I.e. previously dyed, virgin hair). Everyone is the salon makes you feel comfortable and the team is very friendly. I made the mistake in trying out another salon for balayage and they completely ruined my hair! I went to Lisa Dinh cause a friend of mine recommended them. It’s my first time getting my hair bleached and I wanted to make sure it was done properly and professionally. Jessica Le was so great! She took what I wanted and made it her own and she gave me so much info about aftercare and everything I needed to know with such a drastic change from almost black to blonde. I am beyond happy I chose Teresa to do a balayage highlight and colour correction combo on me. Although this was my first time seeing her, the whole experience felt so familiar. She took the time to listen to my every want and need, and made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. Had a balayage appointment with Cece and it was the first time I was able to say I love the outcome of my hair! She was very thorough throughout the appointment explaining the process and was able to get all the warmth out my hair. As an apprentice, I am so impressed and definitely will go back to get my hair done in the future. I had a really good experience here as someone with a definite hair history, my stylist Peggy had a huge task to try and fix the problems. She was a CHAMP. I fully understood because of the state of my hair coming in, to be realistic. She went above and beyond and created a miracle. My hair came out fantastic compared to 6hrs earlier. Worth every penny.
Please know you get what you pay for and coming to this studio, where everyone is so friendly and talented, you know you're in good hands. Lisa herself even came over to have a chat/quickly consult and was so down to earth/friendly.

This was the second time I've ever had my hair professionally done and I have no regrets! I was looking for a stylist who was more familiar with warmer tones (brunette instead of blonde) and I stumbled upon Teresa's Instagram. I had a hair cut and a balayage/colour correction done. Peggy did an amazing job! She was extremely personable, knowledgeable and attentive. She explained everything she was doing each step of the way. I booked an appointment with Nicole to do balayage highlights and haircut and she did an amazing job. I arrived a little early and was standing outside and one of the girls actually came out and invited me in. My temperature was checked and COVID protocols were taken. I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn't exactly sure how to explain it, I showed Nicole some inspiration photos and she immediately explained what would be done.

I had a great experience with Nicole who did a subtle balayage highlight for me. I appreciate that the staff here are all so welcoming. Upon arriving, I had my temperature taken and the staff took extra steps in following health and safety guidelines. Nicole made sure to check in with me to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process, which I greatly appreciated. I recently finished my second balayage session + hair cut with Paulo, and I've never been so in love with my hair before - instant (and much needed) confidence boost! He listened to everything I wanted and even offered better recommendations in terms of colour and the hair cut. And I cannot forget Lisa's amazing customer service - she constantly checked in with her entire team and every single client just to make sure everyone was okay, such a caring human-being, protect her at all costs!

I've been to more than a handful of salons and this is the only one I can completely trust with my hair!

At my consultation I was told that I would most likely need two sessions to achieve the colour I desired. Surprisingly, my stylist (Kathy) somehow managed to do it in one - she ended up doing an amazing job and my hair came out looking exactly how I wanted!

I've bleached my hair multiple times and I expected the damage (as per usual), but this was the first time my hair came out looking healthy and STAYED healthy. I did eventually have some dryness near the ends of my hair, but nothing

Amazing service! From when I walked in and was greeted by Lisa. Mimi helped to take my jacket, put on the coat/robe for me. Asked if I wanted any coffee or tea. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair. Jessica is AMAZING! she was patient and understood what I wanted. She let me know her concerns so that I understand the risks of bleaching on top of my already blonde hair as she wanted to save the integrity of my hair and not cause any breakage. I could hardly believe the magic that Lisa has worked on my hair. She was personable, knowledgeable, and a consummate professional of her craft.

As all bleach lovers know, our hair has been through the gamut of abuse. Sometimes it's bad decisions (like choosing a chunky set of highlights that totally clashed with our roots or a box dye), sometimes it's the lack of care (like not using purple shampoo), and sometimes it's just that we crave that perfect colour. Amazing experience! They have talented artists working there. I came in with really orange hair that had a lot of uneven tones and left with a beautifully blended ashy blonde!

Solid 3.5. Came here a while back to have my hair dyed to a chocolate brown. We discussed a few pictures and finally agreed on the reference picture attached - a warm chocolate brunette, as I did not want any blonde in my hair. I explained that I previously had ombre blonde hair two years ago and it was a nightmare having to deal with the maintenance of purple shampoo and brassiness.

The process took almost 5 hours. It's never fun having to sit in the salon for this many hours, especially through lunchtime. I watched Netflix on my phone when I could but it was definitely on the boring side

Yes, yes make the trip out here. Just needed my roots to be touched up and my hair colour overall toned. Kathy did an amazing job and was QUICK. I wasn't in the chair for 4-6 hours like some other unnamed salons. She's super sweet and understands how to balayage asian hair. Cost me about 200$ plus tax, I only touched up the top of my hair and near the ears if I were to put my hair up in a ponytail.

10/10 recommend.

I've been here three times and all three times I've had excellent experiences. The girls were really knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Very pricey but then again, it is your hair and what you pay is what you get. The overall health of my hair would have been much worst at a cheaper salon (and after three appointments, my hair is still pretty healthy!). My hair also turned out exactly how I wanted during each session. I am so looking forward to my next visit!

I found out about Lisa Dinh's Hair Studio from the numerous Instagram posts of ladies satisfied with their hair colouring. After my last disaster at a different salon, I had to give them a shot.

I was originally booked with Lisa, but her availability takes months to open up, so I went with Sam. At first, I was skeptical in whether or not she knew how to treat Asian hair, but she knew exactly what she was doing.

I am so happy I stumbled across Lisa's instagram page back in 2014!!

Since then I have visited her home and new studio I think 5 times total for colour/cut and I am so so so glad I went through my hair journey with them. I had my hair cut and coloured by Samantha couple of weeks ago (Dec. 16).

The Good:
First of all, I loved how friendly the salon was. Everyone was welcoming. Samantha was also very nice and easy to talk to. Samantha did an AMAZING job with colouring my hair. After having a bad experience in another salon earlier in the year (note my other review LOL) my bf got me an appointment with Lisa Dinh!
My hair before was over processed, banded and pretty brassy..
