Dr. Erin Maruscak graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo Optometry School in 2002. She completed an externship in Ocular Diseases and Therapeutics in Florida. Prior to optometry school she was the gold medalist in the Honours Physiology program at Western University. Dr. Maruscak has volunteered abroad with Eye Care International to provide care and donated glasses to those in need.
Although not fluent, she is now able to examine patients in Spanish through these eye care missions. Dr. Jacquelyn Fleming graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2009 with both her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science degrees. She graduated on the Dean's Honours List and received an award for academic excellence in ocular pharmacology.
