Our mission is to provide our patients with thorough, high quality eye care in an environment of respect, compassion and trust. East London Optometry was founded in London, Ontario by Dr. John Astles. It has been providing excellence in eye and vision care for Londoners since 1980. Today we have four optometrists and phenomenal staff all working together to best serve our patients.
At East London Optometry we have the latest technology to look at the entire eye and visual system. Many eye diseases have no symptoms in the early stages and are only found through a thorough eye exam. The sooner they are diagnosed and treated the better. We can also uncover early signs of diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.

Everyone in there was very nice and helpful! I'm afraid I didn't get all their names (they may have been Kayla and Dr. Raewyn), but the lady who did my eye exam made me feel very comfortable and welcome. My experience was very warm and inviting.
The salesperson (Kelly, I believe) listened when I showed her a picture of the kind of frames I was thinking of getting and showed me similar frames. I had an eye injury and Dr Drexler fit me in to have a look at it. I felt he went out of his way to accommodate me, greeting me by my first name and continued with weekly visits to follow up with the healing process. I felt very welcomed and not a bother. I would not hesitate to recommend East London Optometry.

I had an emergency eye injury that was extremely painful and they fit me in the same day. Dr. Drexler was amazing and so kind. After treating me Thursday and Friday, I had complications with the eye again over the weekend, and he was once again able to fit me in for a emergency appointment on the Monday. He was able to fix my eye and even followed up by personally calling me to ensure I was healing properly. Such a great doctor, I really appreciate everything East London Optometry did to help me out when I was in so much discomfort and pain! I am feeling much better now, thank you!

Customer Service is amazing. Greeted with a smile. Very short wait time once we arrived for our appointment. My kids were a bit nervous. The way they interacted with my children was amazing. Such understanding and kindness. The exam was thorough but still done in a timely manner. The displays and selection is stunning so many options. Highly recommend if your looking for educated and trusted exam and stylish affordable frames.
