Michael Dean Jewellery has been in business since 1984 and Michael Dean Jewellery Gallery has been on Granville Island since 2005. We showcase Michael Dean's Designs that feature Diamonds, Sapphires and many other rare gems in Yellow Gold, White Gold and Platinum. The designs are classic with clean lines and his "less is more" belief in jewellery designing.
In 2000, Michael Dean won a Canadian Jeweller Buyer's Choice Award for his handmade platinum and 18K yellow gold ring with a Japanese pink freshwater button pearl, highlighted with four fancy blue diamonds. Michael Dean and his wife Carole Baldock opened the Gallery on Granville Island in 2005. Carole has been showing her designs since the Gallery opened, her first love is pearls and has many modern and traditional pearl designs.

Michael Dean Jewellery Gallery has been on Granville Island since 2005. The Gallery has expanded from just Michael Dean and Carole Baldock to showcase 10 Canadian Jewellery Designers. We are proud to be a showcase for the great talent that we have in this country. These include notable Designers Janis Kermen, Adele Van Tonder and Bayot Heer to name just a few.
Often, we are unable to find what we are looking for in a piece of jewellery. Nothing "off the rack" will do. Well let's just say I purchased a nice ring from them years ago, was probably worn a handful of times so I was curios to see what kind of value it had taking into consideration it was their own ring with a nice raspberry spinel.
I sent an email to them and the owner replied to me by mistake thinking I was her employee. Here's the response i got:

Can I let you deal with this you might be able to get it for a steal.

I highly recommend a stop at Michael Dean Jewellery. Carole will do an amazing job helping you select the right item for you and she can even custom make it for you if you don’t see what you’re looking for. I purchased a ring which is beautiful and Carole was able to find matching stones and make me a pair of earrings to match which I love! Excellent customer service and beautiful items to choose from.

My wife and I had our rings designed and crafted by Michael Dean. The rings were stunning and a perfect match to our personalities and vision. Michael and his wife Carole created a welcoming environment for us to convey our thoughts and used their many years of experience to make suggestions to enhance our vision.
