It's our mission to make meaningful and sustainable jewelry that fosters connection through personal storytelling. We create sustainable jewelry that holds personal significance for those who wear it. People connect with symbols and their meanings, and the individual way they resonate with their personality, ambitions, struggles or source of joy.
In 1993, we met, fell in love and began handcrafting jewelry at our kitchen table in Vancouver. Less than two years later - following myriad conversations about our shared appreciation for good design and old things - we founded Pyrrha with a commitment to always follow our own rules.
Although we had arrived in Vancouver separately, we had both recently taken the leap to move to the west coast from Montreal (Wade) and rural Ontario (Danielle) with the requisite, 20-something-idealism that the grass is greener on the other side of the country.Pyrrha began as a side-hustle while we worked to pay our rent, supplemented by selling off our large and rare record collection.

Pyrrha cannot guarantee expedited or overnight deliveries to rural postal codes or zip codes. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the shipping address associated with their purchase order or Paypal account is correct at checkout. Pyrrha is not responsible for deliveries to incorrectly entered addresses once an order has been placed.

When aligning with another brand, it's essential for us that it be an authentic fit in order to stay true to our vision, and we're very grateful for these organic partnership opportunities.
Pyrrha was founded with the hope that people would connect with and find true meaning in our jewelry, and we believe wholeheartedly that giving back is an extension of that ethos. Pyrrha is one of the most wonderful stores in L.A. The jewelry is exquisite and learning about the meanings of the pieces makes the experience more amazing. Jo, the manager, is beyond kind and helpful. My wife and I have been shopping at Pyrrha for years. It’s always our go to shop for that special gift. Love the story, love the history and unknown travel of the metals past. Mostly love and respect the customer centric experience. I have 5 pieces from pyrrha and the most recent piece did not fit my partner. Pyrrha did not hesitate to make the exchange and for that and everything above, I thank you. I've been a Pyrrha devotee for over 15 years. I'm obsessed with the their talismans and chains but I love Jo (who manages the 3rd street boutique) just as much. She has a great way about her-very helpful and engaged without being at all "salesy." She has great follow-through and is very responsive. She's also helped me with custom orders. I came across Pyrrha on my IG. I immediately fell in love. The pieces spoke to me on a very deep level. After going to the website, I found MY TALISMAN. I decided to read reviews and kept reading how the staff was wonderful, especially Jo. So, this morning I called and Jo answered. I told her about my delight and the piece I liked. I have admired Pyrrha talisman necklace on other people and wanted one of my own but it had to speak to me. When I discovered "unbreakable " I knew I had found it. The jewelry is good for both men and women with gorgeous rings, bracelets, cuffs and talisman necklaces. When I wear a piece, people will ask about it. Beautiful! Perfect! Special! Unique! All words that describe Pyrrha jewelry. I just got my first piece from my husband and daughter for Mother's Day this year. They got me the Inspiration locket. The symbolism… and phrase is absolutely how I feel about being a mother and wife. This is truly an heirloom piece that I hope one day my daughter will pass down to her daughter and so on. Today while I was out shopping, my friend noticed that my necklace had come undone. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way I lost my Talismans pendant. I was very sad because this was a retirement gift from my place of employment and it meant so much to me. I contacted Pyrrha and they are going to fix my chain and replace the pendant. I have been coming to Pyrrha for 4 years now and could rave on and on about everything about this company. Not only are their pieces unique, hip and of high quality, but the customer service is exceptional. I can not name one other store I have been to where I have had a warm and inviting customer service experience every single time. I have been to this store so many times, that not only do I personally own at least one piece in each display case, but I have also bought at least one piece in each case as a gift to family members, friends and bosses - of both genders. I love love love Pyrrha. Their designs are super unique and whenever I wear them I always get compliments about how awesome they look. They can be worn well with jeans and a t-shirt or a cute summer dress. Every piece is unique and has its own meaning so you can pick just the right one. Unfortunately for me they're all right and I'm addicted (I have eight pieces and counting).
