We had such an amazing experience with Taylor from Cavalier! She was so knowledgeable about not only the stones, but making sure all the details of my setting would be perfect. Shopping with Cavalier is unlike any other jeweler that we experienced. Everything is truly bespoke and made to fit your stone perfectly. Even though I was there for the design process, the ring was even better than I could have imagined! I can’t say enough good things about Taylor and the team and can’t wait to go back when it’s time to pick out our wedding bands.

My fiance has always wanted an emerald engagement ring, but options were few and far between locally. I reached out to Cavalier for a phone consultation and was very impressed by Dane. He answered all of my questions regarding unique features of emeralds, where they are sourced etc. He also sent me some resources to read up on various emerald mines in Columbia and Zambia. We kept in touch and fortunately I was able to make a visit in person where we narrowed down details of emerald style and ring design. Cavalier Gastown made our engagement ring. I dealt with Taylor to design the ring over the course of a few weeks. Once the ring was in production, it took about 6 weeks to make. It was delivered overnight to Saskatchewan and made it in time for my proposal date!

Was so excited when I received my engagement ring from Cavalier. It is SO STUNNING and exactly what I would have chosen myself. Cavalier Gastown is the absolute best! They've set the standard of how ring shopping should be done. As a Calgary local, and starting my engagement purchase process in a pandemic. After seeing one of my best friends (who is a geologist and knows her rocks!) select her gorgeous emerald engagement ring, I knew this was the place for me. This was such an amazing experience! After my partner proposed, we made an appointment here and designed a ring together. Don't be dissuaded by having to make an appointment, they can often fit you in on the same day. They let you choose your setting, metal, and stone and completely customize it according to what you want. It does help to bring pictures.
Because what you have seen in pictures may not ended up looking the way you want it to on your hand, they let you try on lots of different shapes and sizes to really get a feel for what the end result will be like. I would highly recommend

I am from out of town and did not have a chance to stop in and meet the Cavalier team. I spoke with Taylor via email and over the phone, she was very accommodating and made the experience simple and stress free. We brought my heirloom ring here to have it re-designed into something a little more modern. I had my heart set on a David Yurman design and Dane assured me they could make it happen! Cavalier is a great place to start your "ring search", or get educated about what you want - the atmosphere is relaxed, I would not suggest starting at any other jeweler. Wasn't planning on buying a ring that day, it was the first day of looking at rings, but they made it comfortable enough for me to go ahead.

The no interest, NO PRESSURE payment program they offer is unbelievable, it took me over a year to pay off the ring before I could pick it up and there was not one bit of pressure to put more money down or pay faster.
