Services
Herby Whyne is an athlete, head coach as well as founder and owner of Hard Knox Gym. He is a former professional Canadian Kickboxing Champion and was once 6th overall in the world. As if that is not enough, he also has his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Herby Whyne has accumulated more than 30 years of kickboxing and boxing as an athlete and coach.
The foundation of every women's boxing class will be to learn to protect yourself, build confidence, punch with intent, how to be aware of your personal space and of course to get in the best shape of our life. Children are welcome to start boxing at Hard Knox at the age of 8. The sport of boxing builds confidence and teaches discipline, perseverance, resilience and respect.

Women's Boxing has become more and more popular in the last decade; women's boxing is now part of the summer Olympics, there are more and more movies involving women's boxing, more and more models, actresses practice boxing to lose weight, get fit, tone their bodies and learn new skills. Women from all over the world are using it to help build their self-confidence, get stronger, protect themselves, relieve stress, blow off steam and stand up.

Best gym in Canada! Herby is so motivating and fun. And Christophe is just absolutely amazing. He gets so passionate about his clients goals and takes us to unbelievable levels of accomplishment! You won't get out of that gym without feeling like a beast... If you're looking for no limits and insane confidence and muscle gain - I highly recommend this gym (And even more highly recommend Chris (Alfonso)!!!) I'm obsessed with that place and am so glad I found you guys.

I am very very disappointed of this place, I went for the boxing class with Herby and I just cant believe how rude is this guy, the way he talk to people, consider that almost everybody was a beginner, it make you feel very stupid if it wasn't for Christian the other trainer i will probably walk away from the class, i will never, ever going back, if you are a beginner may be you should try some where else.

My sister and I decided to sign up for kickboxing classes for the summer. We will be attending twice a week.
The staff and the trainers are super amazing. They are very friendly and helpful.
We had our first group class. The warm up session was grilling with full cardio workout. All my energy were draining out of me. After 20 minutes of warm up, we got to do the best and the exciting part. The kickboxing was energetic, fun, and excellent workout. I appreciate our trainer Melanie who gave us extra attention since it was our first time. Can't wait for the next class.

One of the best gyms I have been to. The group classes are amazing. You really get toned from head to toe. Full body workout that really pushes you to train harder. You leave there feeling like you could never have done that workout alone. Great energy from the instructor and other members in the class. I highly recommend trying a boot camp class or the Saturday morning body fit class :)

I've never taken a gym classes in my life before I joined this gym. Now I can't live without! Guess what! now I am taking the boxing class! If I can do this, you can do this too.... Great teachers, great gym classmates :) , great location- for me, 10 seconds walk... :P

Hardknox gym is the real boxing gym deal, complete with dedicated experienced instructors who can take all level of boxing/kickboxing athletes (incl. newbies and competition driven athletes) and teach/hone skills to become more effective boxers. Don't go to this gym looking for cardio-box, that's not happening here.
You can buy per class/drop-in, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month or 1 year memberships.
The gym has 1 full size ring, a complete weight gym, and aerobics type area that is primarily used for BodyFit classes. It also has basic locker rooms complete with showers.
