All of our frames have a two year manufacturer's warranty, which is double the industry standard of one year. Unlimited adjustments for the life of your glasses are included. We have access to a variety of optical labs and suppliers, which guarantees quality eye wear and also lets us find the best prices on our products.

Our practice has been providing quality, compassionate eye care to London residents since 1980. As optometrists, we specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of eye diseases. Regular eye exams are important for people of all ages and help detect eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration in their early stages, before they cause vision loss.
OHIP insured eye exams for children, adults and seniors are no longer provided due to a province wide job action taken by the Ontario Association of Optometrists. For over 30 years, successive Ontario governments have ignored Optometrists. In 1989 the fee paid for an OHIP insured eye exam was $39.15; today, over 32 years later, it is on average $44.65.

Dr. jason Hutchinson, is a rip off artist. I came in for an eye exam and said they can't do it because of the battle with the government over price charges, OK. However he was will to take my $275. bucks to give me contact lense prescription and I purchased the Dallies from them, but I cannot purchase my 2-week lenses as the prescription only states dallies and he knew I wanted both types. Plus you can't purchase lenses anywhere else without an actual eye prescription which he won't give.

Had a full appt, first time at Byron Optometry. Dr Hutchinson did the exam. He was quite personable and we had a friendly conversation. He answered all my questions and was not pushy about getting new glasses. I then met with Jan who helped pick out a new pair. She also was very friendly and professional, helping me choose a pair that suited me. She has a great sense of humour and it ended up being a fun appointment. This is the place if you want a professional and friendly staff to help you.

Great staff! From the pre testing to the exam it ran smoothly and they were extremely friendly. Everything that was going to happen and why it was going to happen were explained in detail. I was comfortable and didn’t feel rushed and had many opportunities to ask questions.
Fast and efficient while still following covid protocols and keeping everyone safe.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to state how much I adore Dr. Shilpa Patil! Not only is she brilliant, but she's also one of the most easy going and fun people to talk to. She instantly makes you feel comfortable in her office and she take the time to explain what's happening. I would recommend her to anyone. She'll work with you and take the extra time to figure out what you need. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could.

Staff were helpful in the beginning. Received call to picked up & fit tinted lenses (45 minute drive). Arrived to find lenses not tinted to correct color. No one there checked the lenses or the order before we were called. Were told by Dennis, they would try to match lens color to old pair of glasses and it would not be exact but close. We were good with close. Got another call 6 days later that re-tinted lens were ready. Drove another 45 minutes one way! Met with Dennis again. Lens were not even close to the color tint of old pair. Dennis then explained the tinting process and that he needed

What a fantastic experience! My son is 3 and we originally went to another optometrist and our experience was not a good one. Dr. Ryan was amazing with my son and really made him feel comfortable. As a parent I am so thankful he had patience and an incredible kindness about him. We will be lifelong patients at this office and more importantly of Dr. Ryan's! The front desk staff were wonderful as well!
