My mission is to provide patient-centred professional optometric services using the insights from technology, knowledge and experience with compassion and care. Dr. Bryan Friedmann received his Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, from Brock University in 1985. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo and graduated in 1989.
Dr. Bryan Friedmann is committed to helping patients prevent and control a wide range of diseases and disorders that affect the visual system. A comprehensive eye exam in our office can be likened to a physical for the eye because it looks at the entire eye and visual system.
It can detect eye diseases and disorders such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal detachments and macular degeneration, as well as other systemic health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure.At the end of the exam you will be given your current eyeglass prescription. Dr. Friedmann will conduct a complete eye exam of the health and function of your eyes.

Dr. Friedmann is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He is very kind and conscientious.
I went to see him because I was having a painful problem with my eyes. He put me at ease right away, and I never felt rushed. I thought that he took my concern very seriously and he did everything possible, to be sure that he was not overlooking anything. I highly recommend him.

This doctor calms, educates, and engages the patient in such a lovely way that you leave not minding that your pupils are dilated. I learned so much about my eye health and received practical info on continuing to care for my eyes. Have and will continue to recommend him. Plus you get the delightful experience of speaking with his wife when you call the office.
