Single vision lenses aim to correct one distance view, may it be near, far, or intermediate. These lenses are best for a client who requires only 1 zone for their distance vision. Bifocals are types of multifocal lenses that are sectioned off into 2 eye zones. These lenses work best for a client who requires distance correction for near and far vision with no transition between the two.

Both Connie and Carina are wonderful to work with!!! I've been working with them for the last 6 years and my contacts have always felt comfortable, and it's always been the correct prescription for my horrible astigmatism eyes. I moved all the way down to Houston, Texas two years ago and I make sure I still get my contacts from them. They get them to me quickly and I wish I could transport their business down south!!!

I’ve been wearing contacts and glasses for 20 years, and in that time I’ve probably had eye exams at a dozen opticians.
None come close to the service here. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The selection of frames (and especially contacts) is better than anything I’ve encountered, and the customer service is awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I actually enjoyed my eye exam experience. The staff led by Connie were very friendly and more than helpful. The Optometrist Dr. Purba answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand and instilled a sense of confidence in her competence. These people are very good...probably the best in town.

Dr. Purba gave me the best eye exam I have ever had. With my challenging prescription, I thought that I'd never see well again, but I was wrong. Connie helped me select a pair of funky glasses that not only worked with my prescription, but look amazing. I get so many compliments. I will definitely be going back!

One of the arms on my frame broke off the other day (Friday). Called around to try and get an appointment to fix this issue; called several Optical Shops who could not help me until next week . Then I called Shelburne Optical and Connie squeezed me in that same day. Addressed my needs and in about an hour I was heading back home with my problem resolved and my glasses on my face again. Excellent customer service in these trying times. Highly recommended!

Connie has been addressing my eye glass needs for many years. She is caring, thoughtful, and empathetic. I have multiple visual issues which Connie continues to address with knowledge and expert skill. She listens attentively and considers solutions carefully, offering ongoing help no matter how challenging my situation. I need prisms in my lenses and am sensitive to slight changes in the alignment of my tri-focals. Connie perseveres in adjusting my lenses in order to solve my needs. As a benefit, I also get modern elegant frames at Shelbourne Optical.
