Services
As much as we would love to see our clients back in the clinic, we will be continuing with curbside care (where we retrieve pets from clients outside of the clinic) and will re-evaluate in the fall.
We understand the province is opening up as more of the population becomes fully vaccinated, however, to continue helping our patients and our team, we need to ensure we continue to decrease our risk exposure to the virus and the variants by remaining vigilant with our safety measures.

My name is Tiffany and I am the proud owner of Georgian Bay Veterinary Hospital and Mobile Services. I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I have been able to speak and I am so grateful for the opportunity to care for your pets. I was born and raised in the area, and am still so honoured to call Georgian Bay my home.
I have been fortunate enough to have spent most of my working life in the veterinary profession. After working after school and summers at Centennial Animal Hospital in Bracebridge, I became an Animal Health Technician and enjoyed that career for 10 years, first at a clinic in Whitby and then eventually coming back home to Centennial Animal Hospital.
Founded in 2016, the Fear Free initiative aims to "take the 'pet' out of petrified" and get pets back for veterinary visits by promoting considerate approach and gentle control techniques used in calming environments.
Utilization of Fear Free methods and protocols leads to reduction or removal of anxiety triggers, which creates an experience that is rewarding and safer for all involved including pets, their owners and veterinary health care teams.We are a Fear Free Certified Practice and all of our team members are Fear Free Certified Professionals.

We are equipped to handle a wide variety of medical conditions, including emergencies. Because we can perform many diagnostic procedures in-house, we can often give you immediate answers and start treating your pet faster. In some cases, your pet may require hospitalization and further diagnostic tests.

Georgian Bay Veterinary has been fabulous with taking care of our pets. They are informative and both our dogs love going to the Vet. I love that they have been Fear Free certified to improve the patient experience and are always very helpful and supportive both when we phone and when we go for visits.

I have been using Georgian Bay Veterinary Hospital since they opened. I have never before (other than Pyne Hills Vet Hospital in Tottenham) come across Veterinarians who care as much about our 4 legged family members as these AMAZING VETS and ALL Wonderful Staff that work there do. The compassion they showed when we had to put our OES down years ago was second to none. I never did let them know how much that was appreciated. Now, my 2 year old dog has a horrible ear infection. It is very persistent and the care the vets are showing is fantastic. They are even messaging me without me calling, just

Would not recommend. The services are expensive and they sold me things i didn’t need.
In the package for me left outside they added an extra thing (dog cone) which I did not require without prior asking me if I needed it. When I called about this I was asked to return it for a refund. Which I did, and someone even showed up at the door and confirmed with me that I am returning when I was dropping the package outside.
It’s been 5 weeks since I was promised a refund. Tried to call to discuss but a fax responds for an Operator option (3). Left a comment on their web site but was told that “tech

Wonderful experience, vets and receptionists are extremely professional, very patient with my cat and made him feel very comfortable. In prescribing him preventative care, I had asked to have some time to explore all my options and they wrote down all sorts of information for me which I so appreciate. Very thorough, I highly recommend and your pet will be in good hands here!

We have used both mobile and on site facilities both are top notch. Dr Leanne came to our home and looked after our rescue with multiple medical concerns. Her compassion and time taken to explain rationale and processes was appreciated. When his time came she allowed we humans and our other pets the time we needed to grieve and gave us strength to know we were doing the right thing as our hearts were breaking. Dr Leanne Jess and all the staff we have met have made us and our pets comfortable always taking time to answer questions thoroughly. You and your pets wont be disappointed. A great choice
