Wonderful experience in Ottawa, this hotel has an amazing river view, look how beautiful it is!! service is awesome too. Special thanks to Jerry, she is so talented and nice. I don't speak French, but she can speak English French and Chinese. she helped me a lot.
4 stars because I don't like breakfast here, another best western Hotel has a buffet breakfast, here only sandwich and apple juice...

This is our go-to hotel whenever we are in the city!
The location is amazing, its a short and enjoyable walk to parliament, the market, resturants and great shopping.
The views from the room are breathtaking day or night, regardless of what season.
The hotel has good decor, comfortable beds, good restaurant (when not affected by covid) and not to mention the staff is AMAZING!
We have got to know some of the staff from our numerous visits and they work above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. Jerry at the front desk is wonderful and accommodating. We got the pleasure of meeting Pascal

Booked a last min hotel to further explore Ottawa. The staff is what saved this review. The room was clean but very aged. Our room did not have curtains so things were quite visible (Thicker ones). We booked the Double Room with Two Double Beds with River View - mind you we got to see plenty of nothing with that upgrade - save your money. Hotel includes Gym & pool which need to be booked in advance due to Covid. All necessary precautions where being taken by the hotel. Great location 15-20mins from DT Ottawa.
Compilatory breakfast was as expected...ok.

Nice enough hotel. Good location. Walking distance to Rideau canal and parliament. Parking per night is $15 above and $18 below. My beef is there isn't enough parking for all guests. We were also told that essential workers according to province of quebec are only police, fire, and ambulance...really??? Scrap the idea of a warm buffet style breakfast...it's in a bag. One bag per person. Due to pandemic rooms are not cleaned daily. If u want fresh towels, soap, shampoo etc you have to get your own at front desk. No one to empty your garbage cans during your stay.

Best view of parliament and the river. A post card. And so great to take the dedicated board walk path from Hull to The Byward Market over the Ottawa River, while looking at The Parliament Building and the Magnificent Locks of the Rideau Canal. It's about 1.5km of history and joy. And, you land in Majors Hill Park which is fabulous. Stop for a libation before you get the energy and fun in the Market. It's the best place to stay when in Ottawa. It doesn't hurt that it is across the street from the Museum of Civilization. Also It is clean and well up today with great service and a dining room.
