Went for dinner here with Mrs. About Town and the food was absolutely incredible!
Having never tried Turkish food before (but we love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine) we were both very pleasantly surprised. The appetizers, mains and dessert were delicious!
If you're a wing lover, try their Turkish wings... you won't be disappointed. Very different from the usual options (mild, medium, hot, blah blah blah) and accompanied by house tzatziki.
The eggplant karniyarik was well seasoned and gave that comfort food feel without being too heavy.
We had the Doner Kebab and Yogourtlu Tavuk which

The food was underwhelming and lacked seasoning, although the kofte was half decent. If you must dine here, skip the lamb. The pita was store bought. The potatoes were essentially undercooked fried wedges. The rice resembled an Uncle Ben's mix. The baklava was criminally dry and definitely not Turkish. Having eaten authentic Turkish food many times before, this establishment is a farce. The server, Alyssa, on the other hand, was very pleasant.

Can’t go wrong with chicken, rice and salad! The chicken was spiced and cooked perfectly. The rice and salad were also delicious. The restaurant is located in a plaza on St Joseph blvd so if you have never been there it’s possible you could drive right by it. The dining room is very cozy and the service is fantastic!

What a disappointing restaurant. First, the food was so bland and not authentically Turkish. Very cheap tasting food for such a high price. Honestly Jimmy The Greek at the mall tastes much better and half the price. Also, the baklava was disgusting, dry and not Turkish baklava at all. They use Orange blossom syrup because they're too cheap to use butter in their baklava. They even charge $6 for small piece of dry disgusting baklava!! The owners of this restaurant are cons and thieves. They should be ashamed of themselves. Do not come here if you want real Turkish food please or want good food in

As we love Turkish food, we were excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately it has no relationship with Turkish food!! The food was really bad and cheap and we are very disappointed especially after paying over $45 for something like that. Not only that, but the service was so bad as well!!!
I do NOT RECOMMEND at all, so disappointed!

A friend and I came to try out their food as we had both visited Turkey and loved the food. To my surprise, we were greeted by the rudest waiter I have ever met. He made us sit next to the kitchen door and when we asked to sit somewhere else he said he couldn't move us because of COVID social distancing. There was only three full tables in the whole restaurant that was spacious. We were confused but said nothing. When we asked the waiter for a recommendation of chicken dishes, he didn't even bother to recommend any. He seemed annoyed by our question, and seemed to want us to hurry up and make a

This review is for a takeout order so I can't comment on indoor service. Ordered the dinner for two which comes with salad and a variety of chicken beef lamb and shrimp kabobs . The salad portion was huge with variety of smaller appetizers . The main meal however wasn't as big. The kabobs were on the small side even though everything was quite tasty . It's funny cause the food tasted probably twice as good as it looked. I'm not a fan of takeout so I'd hope next time I can try something else in the restaurant.

This is a quiet, elegant little restaurant tucked in an inconspicuous strip mall. They have new owner since three years ago. The place has been refurbished and the dishes are more refined but less wholesome as in the past. Skewers are not different from many other Middle East restaurants in town. The vegetarian dish has more flavour and sweetness. Nothing exquisite here but is a nice little restaurant to have a pleasant dinner.

What a yummy place! This is a small spot, but, a nice gem in a little plaza. Definitely make sure you have reservations. If in a group, I recommend ordering from the set menu - easy peasy.
Came here on a Saturday and IT WAS BUSY! On this day, there was only 1 waiter for each side of the resto. RSVP for 6pm, took our order (table of 8) at 6:45pm, and our main meal arrived at 7:37pm.
The service from the owners were great otherwise - they were pleasant, engaged in conversation with us, and are proud of their savoury dishes. We had ordered 2x the set menu for 4 - which consisted of a large

When you walk through their doors, you enter into a charming and delightful restaurant. Service is absolutely wonderful. All of our questions were answered with such detail that can only come from people with passion for truly tasty and delicious food. Very authentic dishes. Wonderful ambiance, not too quiet and not crazy busy. Very clean restrooms as well. Excellent for an intimate meal or meeting with friends, families or groups functions and celebrations. Restrooms are spotless, much like the dining room. A return to this Turkish Delight is already in the works. UPDATE. 2nd visit was as wonderful

We had heard so many good things and read a ton of great reviews, so had been talking about eating here for so long and finally got the chance a couple of weeks ago. Apparently it gets very busy here on the weekends, so we made a reservation for dinner just in case. The decor seems outdated, but we didn't mind. The restaurant is owned by a Chinese couple - the husband was taught all of the recipes at an old Turkish restaurant in Ottawa where he used to be the cook. He seated us immediately and got us waters while we looked at the menu. I found a copy of an old menu online beforehand, and though

Tried this place out after driving by on numerous occasions. The interior has a dated decor that somehow feels just right. The staff are friendly, the menu has a lot of options and daily specials. I ordered the hummus appetizer and the Turkish special platter. My wife ordered the daily kebab special. The food that I ordered was fantastic. Three different types of meat, each more succulent than the previous. The rice and potatoes were flavourful and not greasy. I thought that it tasted great, and the prices are reasonable. They had an assortment of desserts available; however, I was too stuffed

Do not be fooled by the plaza, entrance or decor. You do not go there for those, you go to eat good food. Beautiful collection of Turkish dishes and a good eferring of alcoholic drinks. The Cacik took me back to my childhood. Service was good and fast, as one would expect. The yogurtlu kebab was very well done (only place I have had it better is at Carousel in Glendale, CA). For sweets, get the kunafa (on hazelnuts). First class with some Turkish coffee. My son wanted to have Turkish food, and we were not disappointed in the slightest.

I have heard good things about this restaurant so I took a chance and brought my wife there for her birthday.
We made reservations on a Thursday evening and arrived 10 minutes early. We were immediately seated at our reserved table for two. The decor is a little dated but everything was well kept up and clean.
Immediately we felt relaxed, staff are very courteous and friendly. Service was prompt and we never felt rushed. My better half felt very comfortable which is a great start.
The menu was brought to us and it is six pages (rather comprehensive) broken down by sections of beef, lamb
