Ordered from this restaurant for the first time tonight and will definitely be coming back. Staff in restaurant were friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious and seasoned very well. Both our meals came with salad which was unexpectedly good for a side salad, lots of feta and the dressing was amazing.

Excellent Greek Restaurant. This meal was given to us by my daughter and delivered by Uber. We had lamb and Chicken souvlaki, salad, Greek potatoes, Calamari and Baklava. I like Greek food and am very familiar with it.
This was wonderful on all levels. The Calamari was delicious. The salad included generous amounts of feta and great dressing. The Lamb Souvlaki was very special. Many places give you lamb that can be sinewy or tough but this was tender through and through and perfectly flavoured. All aspects of the meal indicate that they are starting with the best ingredients and know how to bring

Waitress was pretty slow. Didn't take our dinner orders until after we finished apps and she cleared the table. Food was great. I had the small Greek salad, saganaki, and bruschetta. A friend had the fattoush salad. We both enjoyed our salads and the bruschetta was honestly one of the best I've had. The bread is nice and fresh. Definitely get that. Saganaki was not very good, I probably wouldn't order it again. It wasn't cooked enough to melt.

Eli, the owner and head chief, treats everyone as family. All the food is amazing but I have to highlight the Greek salad because the homemade dressing is crave worthy. Always delicious and healthy with portions large enough to save for a second meal if you have the self control. Also, try the chicken lemon soup, especially comforting if you have a cold. Onetime I was there with my family and Eli walked up and gave me a full new bottle of single malt whisky explaining he bought the wrong one. Yep, I left a tip worthy of that generosity.

My son loves calamari, so we ordered the appetizer. Well, that was the first strike against Kallisto. Even as an app, the portion was small, a bit plain and flavorless. My wife loves avgolemeno soup and orders everytime she can, this was strike 2. It was not avgolemeno, missing two key things: egg and lemon. Was terribly disappointed just now. Ordered through Uber Eats but only half our order turned up. Our receipt showed full order, but when we called the restaurant to ask 'how do we fix this?' they said 'we don't'. When we asked for clarification he just kept saying we didn't order from them, we ordered from Uber. And what did we expect him to do 'make you free food?!' we paid for it! We have a receipt. I love chicken souvlaki and that's what I ordered without the salad). I've had it many times over the years and this was just okay. The rice and potatoes are usually lemony and these seemed like diner rice and potatoes rather than Greek rice and potatoes. The chicken was good but there wasn't a lot of it for $14. The tzatziki didn't have a lot of kick and was rather bland. I couldn't taste any cucumber and detected maybe a bit of mint?

First time at Kallisto. Really enjoyed our meal of Beef au Brandy. Excellent starter salad - all fresh vegetables, great dressing, nice topping of crumbled feta. Large portions with lots of quality cuts of beef, generous fresh mushrooms and onions in a delicious sauce - we had to take a doggy bag home. Reasonable prices. Would have rated to 5 star if a bread serving was included with the meal to sop up some of that scrumptious gravy. Though we by-passed the desserts, the prices were very good. Nice ambiance.

We went to Kallisto for dinner while visiting Ottawa. Disovered it on yelp and were very pleased. It's a little underwhelming from the outside (change the entry door graphics) - but once inside it's a very nice modern place. We had dinner, the Saganaki appetizer was terrific, with the flashing (fire in pan) done at the table side - about a 3 foot flame! Opa!
The starter greek salad was very good, pretty sure it was home made dressing which is a nice plus - everything was very fresh.
Had the mixed grill for 2 which was fantastic, and could easily feed 3 people unless your famished

The greek salad dressing is REALLY good... and I mean, anyone can make friggen dressing, but this is one that I will remember and crave (crave salad.. who knew)
I don't normally like potatoes, but the ones that came with my take out dinner were suprisingly moist and had a refreshing spice to it. Going back to the dressing part, most of the meal was like this.. Easy to make but something about it here made it *that* much better. It seems like a family run restaurant - we were helped but more than one person and were never left waiting too long.

Stopped in here this evening for dinner with my friend. We decided to get some take out. The restaurant was clean and nice. It was a tad dark in there but I didn't mind. The waitress who served us was so sweet! She gave us free drinks too!
We ordered the Gyro plate, which comes with a Gyro sandwich, Greek style potatoes and Greek salad. The sandwich was really good, the pita bread was fresh. The potatoes were yummy, but there were only 3 slices? I thought that was kind of a small portion. I was disappointed because Greek potatoes are my favourite. The salad was great though! I might visit
