I just bought a pair of boots and within a month one of the heels popped off. The only person I would trust in Toronto is Simion! I first met Simion 30 years ago at the Yonge Eglinton Centre when he did some great work for me back then. Even though his store moved within the Mall and did I throughout the city. He has been a constant at the Yonge Eglinton Mall. His friendly smile was a refreshing sight when I finally found his store on the main floor down the corridor next to the LCBO.( The mall moved him around a few times)

A few months ago, I had my small leather backpack repaired and was extremely happy with the result. I also had my boot heel shortened and sole replaced recently and was very pleased with the exceptional job done by Simion. I am very happy with the service and dedication displayed by Simion in doing every repair to perfection.

Simion saved my new suede boots by inserting a zipper on the inside calf. Otherwise I could not even get them on. The work was well done and Simion was very professional and took very good care of me and called me when the boots were ready. I can't thank the Centre Shoe Clinic, particularly Simion, enough. The biggest joy for my elderly father is his daily walk, which is only possible with shoes. When the sole came off my fathery shoe, Simion put a rush on it, and had it back to me within one working day. His kindness will never be forgotten. WARNING! This is by the far the worst place I ever been to in my entire life. I needed my shoes fix and wanted to punch holes in my belt and the person that did it for me made my items worst. I gave him a brand new gucci belt to punch holes in and received it back in worst condition. I don't know what he did to it but the gucci buckle is all scratched up. I am so upset and unhappy with his work. He sounds like he knows what he's doing but WARNING -DO NOT BRING YOUR STUFF HERE UNLESS YOU WANT IT DESTROYED! He told me he cleaned my shoes and is only able to patch up the holes on the heel

FANTASTIC! I needed a couple of extra holes put into a new belt. One phone call, I go there, less than 5 minutes....DONE. I ask how much...."It's ok...no problem!" WHA?

I brought in 2 of my worn out heels to centre shoe clinic. I work In the building and nearby and needed a quick repair. Simion and Lev were amazing. They gave my worn out heels a new sole and fixed the leather in my white pumps. Both heels looked brand new. Lev and Simion are very professional and they are reasonable priced for the quality of service they provide. I recommend going there when u need a quick and professional repair for a great price.

Quality work, patience with clients and pride in workmanship. I took in Avery expensive bag that I had bought second hand. The handle which was hand stitched was coming apart. Simion recognized the quality immediately and suggested a fix that would be both a good solution in appearance and a reasonable price. I am thrilled with the results - he hand-stitched the leather!

I've been going to Centre Shoe Clinic for 15 years. I've taken numerous La Canadienne Boots, including Shearling boots, and NAOT boots there, to have the zippers fixed, holes mended, soles redone, and I've been happy with the work.
I don't understand whyyyyyyyyyyy the accent or heritage is even brought into the other reviews, really, why?

Took $1K Ferragamos to be steam stretched back to size 11.5. After being in storage for 2 years I thought it was time to reestablish some semblance of panache. Was told it would take 4-5 days. I left them.
The Pick-Up:
The shoes were paid for in cash. The CC machine was still not working. wink wink. The shoes were handed back will a gash in the toe leather, covered in dust and not stretched at all.
The Summation:
Petty theft or money laundering pure and simple. They have no intention of doing the work. At least not in this case.

Okay, so a few months ago, I had to get copies of keys made. The guy charged me $4.99 for the pair and even let me under pay because I didn't have enough cash on me.
This morning, I needed two pairs of copies made and the guy, a different one, charged me $4.99 for *each* key. I paid it because I was in a hurry, but the whole thing seems *extremely* shady to me and I certainly will never return.
Why run a business this way? Yes, you make some fast cash but you lose customers in the process. It's silly.

These people do an OK job, but overcharge for the quality that you get. They are very sneaky and will always try to "up-sell" you by saying that you need additional repairs to your shoes. Don't buy into it, use your judgment. Worst of all is the attitude - it's unbearable. These people are still stuck in the communist Russia mentality, where there is no such thing as customer service. They re-glued part of the sole on my boots and missed a spot. When I asked to add more glue to the missed spot, the man literally yelled at me that he did quality work and that I didn't respect
