Baking At Its Best came together in 2005 after Gary lost his job. Looking for something productive and challenging he teamed up with his wife, Ilesa (no stranger to the baking industry) to kick start their very own baking adventure. Baking At Its Best was born. We're a family-run business focused on offering you baked goods made from scratch and locally sourced products.

There's a good chance you've tasted our baked goods across the GTA in cafe's, coffee shops, deli's and restaurants.

Love love love this bakery! I don’t live in the area but always come here when I am. Great customer service. My son and I are obsessed with their cookies and I always leave with a banana chocolate chip loaf. The last time I got a cheesy bread loaf and it was so fresh.

Great family run bakery. It has great cakes and cookies and the best scones I have tasted anywhere in Canada. Friendly staff. I would recommend this bakery to anyone with a sweet tooth like I have.

Cute little bakery shop~ I love that they bring in other bakers/ products and highlight them all in the one space! Great one-stop-shop experience this way!

We needed a cake for our small wedding ceremony (about 9 people) within a week, and Baking at its Best was able to accommodate us. They made a delicious Chocolate Caramel Skor cake, which everyone loved. Kristie was very friendly and great to talk with as we selected our cake. Highly recommend this place.

I purchased the 7 layer bar, chocolate butter tarts and thumbprint cookies...everything was delicious (devoured a cookie on the way home) and the person who caused me out was super nice and friendly. I'll definitely be returning and would recommend them to everyone!

Excellent bakery and cake shop. Kristie did a wonderful job with the chocolate truffle cake (as a special order cuz Kristie was so kind to fulfil my request) I ordered for my wife’s birthday! We all absolutely loved it! Happy to support a truly deserving great local business!

Awesome customer service, and delicious desserts - so much variety and flavours. They were kind enough to even make a custom birthday cake. My sister loves the precious pecan squares, and they suggested to make this into a cake (which they have not done before). It surpassed our expectations! Cannot wait to go back for more :).

I've become a frequent visitor to Baking at its Best! I went there to pick up some bread but then ended up trying their butter tarts, the chocolate pecan tarts, some cookies and the biscotti; and it was incredible! This is my third week in a row visiting and I can't believe that this place has been around for 3 years and I'm only now discovering it! The treats are absolutely delicious!! The best baked goods I've had in a long time! The staff are pretty awesome too! Well done!!!
