Growing up in a household of passionate healthcare workers, I was always motivated to pursue. I'm from a small town in northern Alberta and I first got a taste of Edmonton when I first. You can relay on our amazing features list and also our customer services will be great experience. I started assisting in 2014 and fell in love with the ability to help people and their smiles!
When I graduated in 2006, the University of Alberta dental program asked me to stay on as a clinical instructor. The highest form of learning is teaching and I was honoured to teach the new wave of dentists in this dynamic health field. I design lifelong treatment plans, thinking ahead, so each option is positive today and also later in life.

I was a patient at this office for a few years and had given thousands and thousands of dollar's worth of business to the office. Last year at their request and assurance that all expenses would be covered by the 2 insurance plans I have, I went in to have a crown procedure, the second in that benefits year. I was not going to have the second one done in the same benefit year because I was worried I would not be covered but Avalon contacted me assuring me all costs would be fully covered by insurance plans. I am very happy with the treatment and care my infant son received at Avalon dental for his tongue and lip tie release. All staff were very kind, courteous and helpful. Dr. Heit was exceptional in her knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about her work. I felt very safe with my 3 week old son receiving treatment. Would highly recommend.

I came in for my regular cleaning in Mid may, and it had been a while since my last hygiene appointment so I knew they needed a good cleaning. Typically I get a different hygienist every appointment, this time I had Wilson. Let me just say my teeth have never felt so clean! Absolutely making sure every future appointment is with him! Hugely thorough, and a very gentle hand! Also had the pleasure of meeting the new dentist there, who fixed up a rough cavity filling that has been bugging me for over a year. So incredibly happy! :)

I was referred to Avalon because I want to get dental implants.
I met Adele who is in charge of explaining the procedure and putting together packages of the different options.
While I was there, I had a very very thorough cleaning by Wilson. AMAZING bedside manner. He even got another opinion from a co worker regarding a certain stubborn tooth of mine. WOW.
Dr Steed did some procedures and was excellent with everything as well. He explained everything and did a top notch job.
Hygienists and staff are all so amazing too. I spent 9 hours there in 2 visits and it literally flew by.

I have experienced excellent service and reliable trustworthy advice from the team at Avalon. Thanks to Avalon's sleep assessment I had a truly life changing experience by learning I am a severe case of sleep apnea. Avalon gave me the diagnosis, treatment options, and no pressure. I am now consistently getting restful sleep.

Avalon Dental has by far the most caring, professional and friendly team you could ever want in a dental clinic. The staff is not only top notch but the equipment is cutting edge, which together makes your visit to the dentist dare I say "enjoyable". I always feel so well taken care of here and they are also great with kids!

The cleaning with x-rays took about two hours before I even saw the dentist. But I'm glad they fit me in on a cancellation the same day on the morning I called and were able to keep me in the clinic that day to fix 2 teeth just after the cleaning, instead of me having to come back another day. Dr. Steed was great and friendly , he made me feel like I had options instead of forcing costly procedures. Fixing my teeth was quick, but didn't feel like he rushed through it to get onto the next patient. Overall, if you're looking for great customer service, the clinic has a positive atmosphere and friendly

I've been going to Avalon since before it was even Avalon! Dr. Sacher was my dentist throughout my whole life and was amazing but he had to leave and I was left in the capable hands of the rest of the Avalon team. Dr. Steed was kind and professional and walked me through my options. However, the absolute praise has to go to Wilson the hygienist for his gentle and calm demeanor. I usually walk out of the dentist sore but Wilson was by far the best hygienist I've ever had. I'll be requesting him again if I can! The staff at the front are also such sweet people! Always happy here.

Hands down the best dental office I have ever dealt with. If you want to feel pampered and leave with a great experience this is your place. The staff and dentists are all wonderful people and always greet you with a smile. I will continue to come to Avalon Dental as I know they have my best interest in exactly what my teeth need. Last week, I went for my regular twice a year dental cleaning & I asked them how long I've been going to them & after checking their records, they said 20 years (since they've been using the system they have now). It's actually been much longer because our kids (twins) were about 2 when they first went. One of them still goes & she's now 44 years old. Her husband & 2 children are also regular patients.
