It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing that I've accepted a full-time position at Dalhousie University faculty of Dentistry as a clinical instructor. I've always had a passion for both dentistry and education and this new career path is a great blend of both.
The decision to step away from full-time private practice and my Summit Dentistry work in patient families was a very difficult one and one that was not taken without serious thought and reflection.The good news is that I will be staying at Summit for one day a week and Dr. Emily Bishop is expanding her hours to accommodate and help with patients that I am not able to see.

I had a very positive experience at Summit Dental, Dr. Power and his assistant Karlee were very professional and friendly. I had the Waterlase procedure done as I have high anxiety and just couldn't go through a typical filling with freezing. From the initial appointment to having the filling done, all of the staff and Summit were kind, caring and polite. If you struggle with anxiety or hate needles you should try the Waterlase. Dr. Power was attentive, explained the procedure in detail and kept stopping to explain what he was doing and to make sure I was doing ok throughout the procedure. I actually

They are good dentists, but they charge 15% above and beyond the listed NS Dental Fees. My insurance pays 90% and I had to pay the extra fee, I was surprised to find that out after the fact. Was not impressed and will be going elsewhere. There are plenty of Dental Offices in the Bedford area that does not charge that premium.

Dr Micheal Salyzyn is absolutely the best at what he does. And Chris his assistant is wonderful. Been going to Dr Mike for 30 Years now. I couldn’t imagine ever going to anyone else. If you need an amazing dentist who has an amazing team?? You should call for an appointment. You won’t be disappointed.

By far, the most professional and compassionate dental office I have been a patient at. Our whole family are patients of Dr. Power (2 adults and 3 children). The biggest thing to me is how relaxed our children feel here. Everyone does a stellar job at explaining things in ways that children can understand and therefor; they feel comfortable and look forward to having their check ups! Highly, highly recommend to individuals and families!
