Before the Irish famine in the 1840's, William Brewster managed the Irvine Estate in Irvine, Fernanagh, Erie. James Irvine, a friend & a doctor, had immigrated to Canada & encouraged his friend William to come to Canada. Sarah Jane Irvine followed her brother soon after to Kingston, ON. Here it was that Sarah Jane, an heiress to land holdings in Ireland, married the manager William Brewster, and while farming in Ontario raised eight children.
Each guest room and suite comes complete with rich coloured Western dcor, historical photographs from the Brewster family archives, log furnishings, cozy duvets and woollen blankets, granite and fully tiled bathroom, satellite television, complimentary wireless internet service, a kettle, coffee maker, ironing board, telephone and hairdryer.
Brewster's Mountain Lodge is a beautifully appointed, western style, 77-Room lodge in the heart of downtown Banff. The hotel and guest rooms boast authentic hand-made log furnishings and unique western decor along with the historical Brewster Family photograph collection. Our amenities include a sauna, small exercise area, underground-heated parking, ski storage and retail boutiques.

Nice place.... great location, clean, well run. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking is very tight underground but works. Free breakfast is fine, nothing huge but enough for me....all in all nothing to complain about, we will be back...p.s. beds are very soft, if you like a firm mattress, look elsewhere.

They were absolutely amazing. Location is in the heart of downtown, right in front of the famous eddie burger. Front desk staffs have exceeded our expectation, every single person we’ve interacted with have went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. Esp (i couldnt get the name) two asian ladies at the front desk, they were nothing but sweet and accommodating and we were extremely impressed! I will always return to this location when coming to banff. Ive stayed at moose, and other lodges here but this hotel is definitely the best. The room is super clean, spacious, we got the king deluxe with

Honestly love this place would go back in a heart beat. Great of the mountains and room was so luxurious. Really loved the service from the team and it was easy to park and visit all the facilities. The hot tub was relaxing in my room spacious and warm. Best hotel I've been to for that price in a long time.
