An IUD is a small, T-shaped plastic device that is wrapped in copper or hormone (Levonorgestrel). IUD is the best reversible method to prevent pregnancy. Wonderful doctors, they are so knowledgeable and kind. But what really impressed me was their staff. The front desk staff. I have never encountered such amazing girls. I took my mother a couple of times and I've only ever really talked to the two lovely ladies who are always at the front- Christine and Lia. They are so sweet, very outgoing, helpful, and very friendly and personable, they talk to you like you've been friends for so long. If I could give Dr. Tabassi 0 stars I would. I’ve been a patient with Dr.Tabassi for over 4 years now. I went to him out of hopes that we could come up with a plan for my fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression. After missing two video appointments this year, I was notified that I owed $280.00 and was blocked from making any future appointments. There was no written warning or notice that was ever sent out to me that a missed video call would result in a no show fee, nor was I made aware of how much each charge would be. Patient of BeWell specifically Dr.Amini. Let me start by saying he is a great doctor. This not the issue. The length of time to see him is my concern and the cause of my negative review. Today is September 9th and the proposed next available time to see him is September 27th. Is this realistic… I take exception to this…very upsetting. Further, patient appointments feel like clock watching as turnaround is 10 or 15 minutes to get the next patient in. Billability appears to be the focus. Becoming a patient at this clinic has been the silver lining to when my prior family GP retired! Dr. Amini takes the time to clearly explain what is going on with your health and a plan to make you better. Also, would like to point our reception, which often is a problem at most clinics. Their team is great and accommodating. Normally you have to wait for 3-5 minutes on the line, but they will help you if you have a real need to for in person meeting asap.
They do not overbook and we never had to wait more then 10-15 mins after check-in, which was a nightmare at

Poor customer service! After putting me on hold for 15 minutes, the receptionist comes back and says very rudely that we are not accepting appointments for new patients. My brother is a patient and he advised that Dr. Amini is great! Please fix your customer service or you'd lose some regular patients too.

The doctors at BeWell are really caring and thorough. My family doctor is there and he always makes sure my health is as best as can be. The staff at the office are really nice and with COVID it helps that they are also good communicators. I always feel like I was taken care of, whether that’s in the office or over the phone.

We have seen Dr. Aminin for a few years. Initially the attention was good, but sadly over time we started to get the feeling 'throughput' of patients was more important than quality. The main reason for the low review however is the lack of respect for patients time. Despite having a booking and being assured 30' before the appointment that the Dr. is on time, we ended up waiting 45' or longer. This became a frequent occurrence until it became too much. Sadly this seems not uncommon practice in BC. We could not recommend this clinic.
