At The Cornerstone Pilates, our mission is to teach movement. We combine the study and discipline of the biomechanics of the body in motion combined with the basic principles taught by Joseph Pilates for a whole integrated approach to moving the body. Re-learn to move in an intelligent way with our workouts designed in varying levels of complexity from beginner to intermediate to advanced.
Our goal is to help you feel your best every time you step foot outside the studio and to fall in love with the way your body moves. The principle of embodiment as human movers means that our mood, personality, history, family, values, culture is represented in how we present ourselves. How we do one thing is how we do everything.

I am someone who never ceases to learn and to challenge herself. I believe in feeling good on the outside and on the inside, and for me, Pilates is the gateway to doing just that.

Reflexology is a science which deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way, a type of preventative maintenance. Reflexology is a way to restore our body's homeostasis.
This workshop focuses on the bones. Our muscles move our bones and we tend to think about the muscles, but what if we took a step back and looked at what the bones can do. How are our bones connected to one another? How do they help move us forward? From top to bottom, our bones provide support for our bodies and help form our shape.
I had been taking private sessions at Cornerstone Pilates for over one year when the first lockdown hit! I was determined not to allow all of the progress that I had made over the previous months go to waste. I was enjoying a renewed confidence in myself, pain relief in both my hips and shoulders and reduced stress levels.

I have been doing Pilates with Jocelyne for a few years now...I can't say enough good things about this amazing woman. She is very talented and dedicated to her practice and constantly taking new courses to grow the depth of her knowledge. Each of her classes are unique, which keeps things interesting. I have increased my flexibility and core strength a great deal--which says a lot for someone previously plagued by pain from scoliosis. Caleigh is another very talented instructor on staff who has excellent technical skills and is a great addition to the team.

As a child I was never very active, but as I got older I was interested in everything; yoga, crossfit, weightlifting, running and eventually triathlons, however I did not understand basic body mechanics. I eventually wound up injuring myself. This set me off on a never ending journey to find people to “fix” me and once they did I would just reinjure myself. It felt like a never ending cycle.
I realized I needed to take things to the next level, and found The Cornerstone Pilates. They taught me the one thing I needed to know; how to fix myself. I had spent years finding people to fix me, not

Pilates has changed my life. After 4 back surgeries I was very skeptical about working out again. Jocelyne from The Cornerstone Pilates changed all that. I've been practising Pilates with Jocelyne for about a year and half and the difference in my mobility and pain level is night and day. Thank you Jocelyne for sharing your passion with me and teaching me about the power of movement!

A year and a half of physiotherapy didn't get rid of the pain in my left hamstring & lower buttock. A few months of private sessions with Jocelyne made a big difference in my comfort level. Jocelyne continues to monitor how I am feeling and modifies my pilates sessions based on how I am feeling. I'm stuck with a desk job doing too much sitting, but now I have a solution with Jocelyne from The Cornerstone Pilates!
