Services
The classes on the schedule are for our registered clients and our attention is devoted to you. We don't offer drop-in spots, nor do we offer "trial classes" during our registered classes. Mat Classes average 5 to 10 students per class. Equipment Classes average 4 to 5 students per class. The curriculum builds class to class, week to week.
Privates are one-on-one sessions and semi privates (duets) are two clients per instructor. These formats provide targeted individual instruction and have many advantages. Scheduling Commitments - Your schedule may make it difficult to attend regular class times consistently. By purchasing a package of private training sessions and use them when it is most convenient for you and your instructor.

Living Well Pilates, in Oakville, Ontario provides a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Training Course for Mat, Equipment and Special Populations with lectures, self-practice and practice teaching hours. The coursework is taught by Mary German in individual, or small group sessions. Outlines for training include Matwork, Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Tower, Pilates Tools and Special Populations.

I have been attending Mary German's Living Well Pilates studio for 3 years and wish I had discovered it much sooner. Mary is a confident, compassionate and enthusiastic teacher with an extensive knowledge base, who manages to meet individual needs within a class setting. She also offers more personalized private sessions. Her attention to the unity of mind, body, and breath in movement encourages her students to not just 'do' an exercise, but to understand it in order to do it effectively and safely.

I've recently returned to Living Well Pilates after a number of years. I'd forgotten how wonderful Pilates is and the many, many benefits it provides.

As well as the atmosphere being warm and inviting, Mary has the unique ability of addressing specific needs of each client during the group sessions.
In private sessions she has focused on helping me to regain the mobility I have lost in my shoulder. What Mary has taught me has improved my quality of life.

Mary is a pilates expert & an exercise physiologist. When I had knee pain I went to my doctor who sent me to a physiotherapist - after 8 weeks of physio exercises and knee taping I saw no improvement. In one session with Mary she explained exactly what was happening with the mechanics of my knee to cause me pain and gave me easy every day movements to practice. I was pain-free in a few short weeks. She's great! Mary is highly skilled and knowledgeable - definitely recommend!

I am shocked by the single comment here as my experience and observations have been extremely different, in fact it is a wonderful experience and most clients are long standing which is a testament to the Instructors leadership and focused customer experience. I would recommend this studio to anyone who has a serious interst in wellness through Pilates.
