Dr. Sandhu graduated in 1998 from Amritsar (India). He practiced dentistry in DMC and Hospital Ludhiana India for 2 years. After working short time in India, he was selected to complete a D.M.D degree from UBC in 2005 and practised in Alberta for 3 years. This residency provided him with advanced Hospital Dentistry including oral surgery, anaesthesia, and treatment of medically compromised patients.

Saw I had metal fillings. Wanted to change them to white. I let him do it. He drilled to far. I had tooth pain. He said he would have to do a root canal on the tooth. I ended up going somewhere else and getting a root canal done. Then a crown put on. Because you have to. Don't to here, he goes to fast and destroys your teeth because it's about making as much money as he can. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

I have been with NSD for four years and recently decided to have some implant work. I can only say I'm delighted! I have my teeth back again! I know implants seems pricey but they are so worth it.. It doesn't hurt! It's spread over a bit of time but Dr Sandhu and his team are Premier league always making it an easy experience. These people are very professional I cannot recommend them highly enough

Dr. Sandhu was my dentist and he made me feel comfortable the whole time and the whole procedure was done really professionally and good I recommend coming here, I felt comfortable trusting them and I came and left with a great smile on my face. The receptionist was also very pleasent and welcoming herself. I definetley would reccomend anyone to come here. They take care of all the guests with care. I experinced no pain either and this is by far the best experience I've had in a dental office.

My great experience started on the phone, the woman was inviting, patient and very knowledgeable. Upon arriving I was greeted by 3 smiling faces and was told to fill out some paperwork. No wait time, I was helped right away! Dentist was very thorough, kind, made eye contact and was great at communicating his future plans. I really loved the clear communication about billing and costs so no surprises in the end! All around a great experience! I will definitely be back!

Their office on1020 Ewen Ave, New Westminster, apparently subscribes to the U.S. style of care. Their primary interest is not patient care but profit. The doctors have at least been somewhat competent as they rush through their work to ensure minimal time is lost on their chairs in between clients. Receptionists generally have been okay but today, this one was exceptionally rude in her responses. She is someone who should never be a in a position of dealing with the public.

Awesome service. I attended 1st thing on a Saturday morning with a badly infected wisdom tooth. Was looked after excellently from the start. Dentist did all he could to get me through to the next morning do as to be in a position for the troublesome tooth to be removed. From the service at the front counter on the first day to removal of the troublesome tooth on the second day cannot speak highly enough of the professional of this clinic. Clean, modern and in my view, exceptional value for the money. I have long a standing commitment to my dentist back in my country and yet new smile dental group

lucky with those, but he's turned out to be a great dentist. Some recent
dentists I've used seem to over treat, suggesting procedures I don't
necessarily need. Unlike these other dentists, I don't get the sense Dr.
Pinar is trying to retire early based on my dental work. I've been so
pleased with his work that I've recommended him to friends and family.

I had an urgent meeting come up and had to make a switch with my dental
appointment. The staff were able to accommodate me with an earlier time

I was referred to Dr Sandhu as I needed all my teeth removed, I am forever grateful to have come to New Smile Dental. I have been an Invisalign patient with Dr. Sandhu. I had crowding of my “lower anteriors” which did show when I smiled. My friends used to tease me that I would need braces. When I visited New Smile Dental Group, Dr. Sandhu talked to me about Invisalign and how it works. He told me that Invisalign is the perfect treatment for my crowded lower teeth. Trust me, they’re not painful like braces and they are hardly noticeable. I am so happy and my teeth are already much straighter. Thank you, Dr. Sandhu.

I was concerned about my son’s teeth, as they were discolored and even had dark spots. I took him to New Smile Dental Group for a checkup.
Dr. Sandhu told me that he had a lot of cavities which needed to be treated. He discussed the whole procedure of sleep dentistry with me.
As my son is just 4 years old, he had treatment under sedation and it was not too costly (most of the treatment was covered by our Care Card). The whole staff was equally helpful and guided us through the whole procedure.

I was looking for a new dentist for my family and a friend recommended New Smile Dental. I made an appointment for myself first for a cleaning and exam with Dr. Sandhu. I was impressed with the care I received. The hygienist was friendly and thorough and I really liked Dr. Sandhu. He asked me about my concerns and explained his approach to patient care.
