My friend and I went on vacation to Vancouver and on August 24th, 2021, we visited Vida Spa.
In the massage room before our session, the therapists took our phones and placed them on separate counters in the room. After the 90 minute massage, I picked up my phone which was drenched in water and severely water damaged. The screen would not respond to any touch, and shaking the phone would physically spew water out of the speakers and charging port. Less than 5 minutes later, the phone screen

It is absolutely repulsive that Vida Spa feels the need to bully paying clients for simply sharing their very real experience and it is disgusting that Allison, specifically, routinely gaslights us in order to avoid taking accountability. While my friend and I visited Vida Spa on August 24th and left with a terrible impression, we have tried countless times to settle the matter privately despite having left with a water damaged phone and having paid $600 in total. If a free treatment is what we were after, do you truly think we would have bothered to pay after seeing the damage instead of arguing

On my first visit to Vancouver, I treated myself to a spa treatment. The staff at the front desk couldn't have been nicer and even stayed 30 min after closing to accommodate my schedule. I had a exfoliating body scrub and hour massage with William. It was possibly the best massage I have had- cross between massage and muscle adjustment treatment. Having a deep history of back and knee issues, it was a miracle when my back felt stronger after the massage. I even learned some exercises that will help me on the future. I can't recommend this spa and William enough!

After seeing those 1 star reviews, I agree with them. We’ve been to spas in Whistler, Parksville, and in other countries before, we have to say this is our least favourite one.
The front staff is not the best at customer service in person and on the phone. We wanted to go relax, but ended up feeling more stressful, all in all not a good experience.

Oh my goodness, we had a great time! Despite COVID-19, we saw no other guests and it was easy to ensure social distancing and still relax in a quiet and peaceful environment. I had Haruka take care of me and she was fantastic, so sweet and kind, allowed me to relax but also had a nice chat with her. Very personable and skilled at her work. Love my nails and I feel so relaxed!! I'd definitely be back and ask for Haruka again!!

I love going to this spa for massages and facials. This spa is not only the cleanest but the staff are wonderful and caring. Best facials I've ever had and I've had in Asia and Mexico at high end hotel spas and for the price it's very comparable to other spas in downtown Vancouver. They use the best products and I've never had an issue with a reaction but everyone skin is different.You can't compare with the states where their dollar is stronger. The massages and steam room is great too. And I'm not alone all my guests come back with great reviews as well.

Wonderful service & staff. My manicurist Catherine was genuinely friendly and we had a really nice conversation. Went with her suggestion for a long lasting polish and ONE WEEK later-- they are STILL perfect. Seriously-- gel quality but with regular polish. WOW! My ayurvedic massage was great (be advised there is a LOT of oil). I can't wait to come back to Vancouver and visit this spa. Thank you so much!

One of the best spa's in the city with the most hospitable staff and incredible guest services. I would highly recommend. My personal experience was one which could have gone a very different direction, but given their care and expertise they turned it around completely. I was scheduled for an appointment over the busy holiday season. Sadly, there was a miscommunication and the dates that were confirmed didn't sync up. Needless to say, they wen't above and beyond to rectify the situation and I left feeling more revived and well cared for than I even anticipated. Thank you for such

Hotel pool guests share the same change room/showers/sauna/general area as the spa guests which resulted in loud children and a busy atmosphere. Wasn't an issue for myself but could see this being annoying for some. Showers were not clean. Body wrap and exfoliation were very nice; massage was alright.. have had better. Reception staff acted as if they had better places to be and had their own personal conversation going on during the time I was checking in and checking out. Wasn't asked about how I liked my treatments and was sent out without a thank you. Was completely disappointed with this place

A girlfriend and I were staying at The Westin and each booked a massage in the early evening. I booked the 1 hour deep tissue.
From the moment my therapist came to greet me, my perception was that she didn't want to be there. Unfriendly & uninterested if I had specific areas that needed focus. 10 minutes into the massage, she asked if I wanted music on. Yes, of course I do! Isn't that a standard in the spa industry? Not once during the massage did she ask if the pressure was okay. She clearly did not want to be there and it reflected in the lack of experience I received

My husband and I decided to go to the "Vida Spa at the Sutton Place Hotel" downtown Vancouver for a Couples Massage and it was super great!
I've had several massages over the years at a number of different spas and I must say this one was terrific! First Rate! The lovely Swedish massages that we were both given were terrific!

Vida Spa at The Sutton has just undergone a much-needed facelift -- at least the change rooms have. Looks like they totally gutted the space. New showers, new tile, new steam room (in mens), new sinks/toilets. It's all quite nice. Where they missed the boat, however, is in the small details. Looks like someone went to Ikea or Bed Bath and Beyond to buy shelves for fresh towels, baskets for hair dryers and to drop used towels into, tissue boxes, etc. Why bother to put so much money into a remodel, if you're going to finish it off with cheap accessories?

I have received nothing but horrible service from Vida spa. I had the one hour deep tissue massage and the girl was just horrible. I've received many massages before and this was not worth it at all . The girl was very unprofessional and unwelcoming . I also lost a very special necklace in the same room I was getting the massage that day. They were not helpful at all and it seemed like they did not care about this issue and never followed up with me.

To help get my body get over the winter blues, I spontaneously decided to treat myself to a massage before the year came to an end. Since my decision was pretty short notice for my preferred spa, I quickly looked for alternatives. RMT's are usually busy throughout the year, but I guess they are especially busy during the winter holidays. I had the most delightful experience at Vida Wellness Spa in the Sutton Place Hotel. A friend of mine had given me a gift certificate for a massage and she couldn't of chosen a better present. I simply love to be pampered and this is one of the best places to do it.

After more than a few months of long-terms stays at the Sutton Place Hotel in downtown Vancouver, my lovely boyfriend had racked up enough points to send me and my nagging back problems to the Vida Wellness Spa, located in the hotel. This was my first visit, but not my last and certainly not the most memorable of the two...in the best way possible of course.
I arrived the recommended 15 minutes early and was escorted by a pleasant staff member to the soft-lit, spacious change rooms. Vida spa users are also allowed use of the pool, gym and steam rooms, all located on the same level. Delicious
