Ali was my massage therapist and she was very knowledgeable about muscles and massage techniques to help alleviate my tight shoulders, upper back, and mid back. She also gave me some stretches to do on my own during my daily routine. I've schedule to see her again next week :)

RMT was amazing! Jeff got all my knots and really focused on my left side (where i was mostly tensed).
I guess due to covid, there were no extra amenities that you could use or maybe they don't have any - not sure.
I just wish the parking lot had signs that we don't need to pay. There were HUGE signs on the parking lot that said STOP! PLEASE PAY FOR PARKING.

I got a gift card as a Birthday present. Booked my appointment over the phone yesterday. Called and left a message to cancel 3 hours prior as something important came up.
They didn't get my message and told me they're going to charge my gift card because it was less than 24 hour's notice. There was nothing in their confirmation emails that said anything about this policy.
Happy birthday to me. $250 down the tube. I've never even been to this spa.

I had a pedicure a couple of weeks ago at the airport that was disappointing. I have since been very impressed with the way in which they responded to my concern. I really enjoyed my experience! I don’t enjoy overly fancy spa’s because I’ve found the other clients can be a little pretentious and I’m afraid of breaking something by accident. At the Century Plaza it’s an established salon with seasoned professionals and a well thought out layout, services and perks. Today I had my first spray tan ever and I was completely comfortable, the tan looks amazing (naturally I’m super pale), and I was provided with a complimentary light lunch which was delicious. I definitely want to try out more services here in the future.

The missus booked an RMT session for my birthday here. You get access to the spa, steam room, and relaxation room where you can have some drinks and do some reading. Amin, my RMT, was fantastic and he has the most genuine smile. They arranged a complementary salad, strochals, and champagne to help celebrate my big day. Top notch service in a wonderful environment.

I was ecstatic to discover I had enough time for a quick lower back & neck massage that I really needed for a long flight. I came right over to the spa, looking forward to a nice, quick, relaxing treatment.
After sitting down in the chair, I let the therapist know what I needed, and specified that I often get pain in lower back & hip region from sitting for long periods, and asked for focus in this area.
She looked at me like a deer in headlights and responded "I don't want to say No, but we can't really do that in a chair massage because of the shape of the chair."

I was waiting for my flight and noticed that I chipped some of my shellac manicure. I popped my head in to see if they would do a shellac removal and a polish change.
They said yes, asked me to select my colour ( OPI and a very limited selection) and take a seat. My nails were wrapped and I say for about 10 mins as the removal product worked some magic. The esthetician cam back and the shellac had barely lifted but she started scraping anyway. I asked her if maybe we should wait a bit longer as I didn't want my nails to be destroyed. She agreed and was very kind. Fast forward 10 minutes

I was very disappointed with my massage. This spa located at Vancouver international Airport only offers relaxation massage. In my opinion, the girls had no technique. I don't believe they have had the proper training to know where the pressure points are. There was no value in the massage I received.

Unfortunately I thought my trip was off to a bad start with my flight to Maui being delayed 3 hrs but then I thought to try out the spa as I didn't have time to get my nails done before my trip. I went in and asked if they have a mani pedi package and they told me about the traveler's distress package and obviously that was just what I needed! I got a mani, pedi and a chair massage while my nails dried. The girl who helped me I can't remember her name a nice young blonde girl maybe late 20s early 30s was awesome fun to chat with and really knew her stuff, did a great job! I&apos

I stopped for a chair massage at the US departures location. The staff seemed bored and uninterested in customers but one reluctantly took me (no one was in the spa so they were not busy). I asked for firm pressure before we started but she didn't do so, so then during the massage I repeated that I would like firm pressure but she still used a light touch and was "just going through the motions". I realize that airport massages are probably never that great but I would expect more for the price - and because I would like to be a repeat customer. Footnote: I complained to the company

I got a cut and full head colour done by Sarah who recently started working there. She did an amazing job! I've always had a problem with hairdressers as my hair always turns orange at the roots, but she took extra time to do it so my roots came out perfect! I also brought in my hair extensions which were custom dyed and she matched them perfectly! She added a soothing head massage when she washed my hair, and styled it before I left. I definitely recommend Sarah next time you stop by absolute spa!

I just got a wonderful manicure at YVR while waiting for my flight back to LAX. Vicky was a total sweetheart and went out of her way to make sure I left with the perfect manicure.
So they charge $40. Pricey even by airport standards; however, the quality of this nail treatment was tops. They were nice, careful, patient and made the effort to insure a 5 star experience.
Obviously I will come back. Great way to blow 30 to 40 minutes while waiting for a flight.

15 min massage is 35 bucks with tip which seems ridiculous. Yikes! I guess for an airport spa, it's ok when you're on the run. But it's weird to be there in the chair, face down, in a compromising kneeling position (how's that for a visual?) while everyone walks by on the moving ramp, staring at, well--you!
Still, you can sit there and read the mags and feel that you're in your own enclave for just a mo. It can also help with the stress of traveling if you have extra time. But no matter how much extra time I have, I can't get over the fact that I might miss my flight

Visited here again for second time to get my quick massage while waiting for my ride. its always feel relax after tired sitting on tight west jet seat.
absolutely love it the only concern I have is food smell from 7 eleven next door due to open space no main door.

Can I just say this place is such a rip off! I know its in the airport, but still!!!! The massage can nothing be compared with the massages that you can get in Richmond. The reason why I give 3 stars is because of the clean environment. How can you relax while you are sitting on a tiny chair and having all of the people passing by you?!

The first time I tried out their massage chair massage. I had wanted a table massage but their masseuse had left for the day. I believe I did a half hour chair massage. 30 minutes is not listed on their menu but you can request it. I don't like chair massages. I don't like being fully clothed and not lying down for a massage.
Last week my flight was delayed two hours so that gave me enough time to get an hour massage here. Because I'm 30 weeks pregnant I asked to have a lie
