Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital opened in 1946, and we have decades of experience in treating your beloved family pets. For those searching for a vet, Vancouver pet owners trust us with their cats, dogs, rabbits, rodents and more. We do everything from general checkups to surgeries. This means that you can bring your animal to us whether they are in good health or if they're suffering from acute issues.
We know how important your pets are: they are family members, and our top priority is offering the best medical services possible and providing them with the care they need and deserve. When a new animal joins your family, your first priority should be taking them to a vet for a checkup. We can assess your pet's health and provide any vaccinations they may need.

Services
Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital opened in 1946. Initially operating exclusively as a "dog clinic, " it is one of Vancouver's oldest continuously operating veterinary facilities. We have reliably provided animal care to clients in the Lower Mainland. Clients come to us from throughout British Columbia and even as far as Yukon.
Since 1946, Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital has provided dedicated veterinary care for our Vancouver community. We're a family-run clinic that's led by a team of qualified, professional veterinarians. All our skilled veterinarians in Vancouver share a special affinity towards pets. Our primary goal is to provide optimal medical, surgical and rehabilitative support until they recover.
At Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital, we know how important the well-being of your pets is. Your animals are family members and they deserve the best care possible. When you require a veterinarian, bring your pet to our animal hospital in Vancouver's Kerrisdale community. We offer standard vet services, including checkups and vaccinations, in addition to dentistry, radiology and more.
Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital has served Vancouver's Kerrisdale neighbourhood since 1946. The hospital is wheelchair accessible with an expansive waiting area and 2 individual examination rooms for consultations with the veterinarian. We have 3 climate-controlled areas for accommodating all varieties of animals with a recovery-ICU and a dedicated cat ward.
Animals aren't able to articulate their medical needs. If they experience discomfort, they can't describe the symptoms, so your pet requires careful diagnosis from a professional veterinarian. For general healthcare and more, take your pet to Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital. We offer a range of medical services, including pet vaccinations.

Covid protocols are a bit of a pain. Can't accompany pet into clinic. Line up outside. Dr calls on phone after exam. Then you pick up pet. Running about 15 minutes late from appointment time, so cold wait. Can be long lineups. Street parking. Dr seemed competent on phone, but as 1st time client would have been nice to meet. No problem entering clinic and mingling to pay bill lol. Kool-aid drinkers?

Dr. Chen is amazing. We have since moved out of Vancouver but we come back to see her. Gryffindor gets the best care and I feel good knowing that he is in good hands. COVID is strange times but I feel the clinic is handling it well. The staff are so nice and caring. I highly recommend this vet clinic.

My 2 doggies have been seeing doctors in this veterinary hospital for the past 10 years. One of my dogs has Addison disease which is genetic and she was passed out for 3 times in past few years and doctor Craven, doctor Dodds, doctor Morley saved her life by their outstanding skills. Both my dogs are over 10 years and they’ve been well taken care of. I appreciate all the doctors and staff’s kind help and hard work.

Popped in for a nail trim for a hedgehog.
The receptionist was really friendly on the call. Her questions made me feel reassured and an appointment was available for the next day.
The doctor was really helpful in trying all sorts of methods to soothe my hedgie as it was her first time getting her nails trimmed.
She managed to get most of the nails, but was watchful for the hedgie's stress levels so we aborted the mission halfway. I could feel that she really cared about the animal's wellbeing.
I was also pleasantly surprised that she only charged me a quarter of the nail trimming service charge

Recently I got referred to the Kerrisdale Vet Hospital and I am very impressed with how they took care of my dog. Marissa in particular is amazing! She has a great attitude and always provides different options which means a lot when your pet is not feeling well. In addition, both Dr.Morley and Dr. Craven are wonderful. They are thorough and very caring. Thank you so much!!!

We have received excellent care for our two dogs from Kerrisdale for many years. All the vets at the clinic are very skilled and compassionate, and the support staff are warm, friendly and professional. We continue to make the commute across town to this clinic even after our move to East Van. When our eldest dog was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Morley went above and beyond to help and support all of us during the last months of his life.
