Taste Of Thai Restaurant
Thai cuisine is in one of the best in the world. It is designed to stimulate and excite the five senses: sour, hot, sweet, salty and neutral. Thai food is aromatic, tasty, healthy and full of interesting textures.

Its aromas and tastes are largely a result of the unique herbs and spices used; fresh coriander leaf and root, lemongrass, the fresh leaf and peels of the Kaffir lime, Kha root (a cousin of ginger with a milder bouquet) and some of the hottest chilies in the world to make Thai dining a unique experience. To ensure that our food tastes just right, we fly these special and essential ingredients in, fresh from Thailand.
Services
This reddish purple wine offers an expressive and very fruity nose, with notes of plums, berries, and dry fruits. This blend ofShiraz And Cabernet Sauvignon wines display ripe plum, cassis and raspberry aromas. Intense, fresh and ripe with wild blueberry flavours and black pepper contribute to its complexity with flavours of mulberries and ripe black fruits.

Taste of Thai does not disappoint. The flavors are always excellent with the sauces tasting particularly authentic, the fish sauce that they use is very good and is in many of the prepared sauces. The owner of the restaurant is a very friendly, spirited and customer focused restaurateur. Many locals support Taste of Thai, a testament to the product and service provided. I am especially happy that they carry Singha beer which is a must have to go with their flavors. I am always well accommodated when I make a large take-out order. If you are in the Kitsilano or Point Grey neighborhoods of Vancouver

Always on the search for a good Pad Thai, and I think I finally found the one! Good spice level, large portions, and very friendly staff. Chicken and prawns always fresh and never over cooked! Spring rolls are delicious as well. They were also super accommodating and informative when making adjustments for my vegan friend.

Delicious food and very kind waitresses (and kind owner too), but the portion is small for the price. The thai ice tea is very good too.

Not impressed with our takeout order tonight. We called and placed an order (4 things+rice) and were told a 30 minute wait. We come in a few minutes after that time and were told another 10 minutes. Then we come back in again... food ended up taking 50 minutes altogether. Really?
The lady was also kind of rude. Don't take on takeout orders if all you're doing is serving the in restaurant people. There should be a queue so that orders like ours aren't forgotten. Should have just walked off to be honest... ridiculous esp on a day with lots of rain/hail.

Tucked away on West Broadway, this restaurant is one of the better Thai places I have tried recently. The pad Thai was great and the noodles were not mushy. Green curry was refreshing with the bamboo shoots and the tom yum soup did not disappoint. Great service too although food did take a bit longer than expected. They also serve mini appetizer while you wait for the food which is neat.

The service here was excellent! My pad thai was a tad too sweet but otherwise loved the presentation. The veggie pad thai had plenty of vegetables, tofu and egg which made it truly satisfying. The owner made rounds to make sure we were enjoying our food and checking if we needed anything to make our experience better.

Family owned and the people are friendly. I ordered takeout over the phone and was particularly struck by how pleasant the woman taking my order was over the phone, which I feel like is so hard to do and rare on phone orders.
The interior of the restaurant is pleasant - the choice of decoration is a little cheesy but nothing too over the top, just a few accents here and there. Their focus is takeout right now but it seems like a nice quiet place to enjoy a meal when they're operating normally.
Because this is farther than I normally go for pickup I got a lot to be able to try as much as possible

Loved Thai food at this place. It was suggested to me by my friend. The pineapple fried rice tasted so good. The cabbage rolls were delicious. Overall loved the food. Great hospitality and customer service. Rating 5/5. They provide complementary chips for taste. Do not forget to ask for peanut sauce. Thats really good. You will get peanut sauce only if you ask. Mango sauce is also complementary.

Food good but service slow. Ambience also very quiet. Our table's food took around 20 minutes to come and there were only three tables present. This was enough time for one of our friends to walk to the nearby McDonald's, slowly eat his meal, and walk back. The food did taste pretty good though. It seemed well-made and felt like authentic Thai food. The manager is also a jolly man.

Really good meal and great service. We ate a lot as we doubled up on some dishes. A bit pricier than our usual go to Thai place but good variety and options.

The food is pretty good here and we saw many take outs from this restaurant while we were having dinner. This restaurant must be pretty popular around the neighborhood. The only thing is the portions of dishes are a little bit small and it would have been nice if there were coconut rice to go with the green curry.

They are WAY TOO OVERPRICED! It took over an hour for delivery and this is what I get... paid $14 for this HALF EMPTY bowl of stir fry beef. Not happy at all. Don't get ripped off!

One of my favourite cuisines is Thai cuisine, and Taste of Thai really hits the spot, satisfying all my Thai food cravings.

It's a bit of a hole in the wall, located on West Broadway, just three stops away from UBC bus loop on the 99B line, so it's quite accessible for UBC students.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is so tranquil and clean, with gentle music playing in the background. The service I've had here has always been friendly, unobtrusive and quick.

The food is fantastic - very flavorful and well presented. They are very much vegetarian friendly, and many of their

***UNAPOLOGETICALLY BAD****

I don't write bad reviews. I try to be positive and only share good experiences.

I have the need to warn people

Horrible( not terrible) service. My friend and I arrived at 7 pm and ordered our food right away. At 7:20 we ask why is taking so long: " it's coming". No, I am sorry...7:35 only one entree comes out. "The next one is coming and walks away"...

Owner made eye contact the entire time, fully aware. Did not care either

Because it's in Kitsilano, the place is a little far away from me, but whenever I get the opportunity to be around here, I definitely go here to eat. Not only is the food superb, the service is excellent. The staff are attentive and kept my glass full at all times. The owner would approach us and strike a conversation with us. He's really attempting to make our experience here a very good one. Overall, I had a very positive experience here and I do not mind tipping more than I should.

Good neighbourhood joint in a quieter part of Broadway.

We went here with my dad who just lives a few blocks away and he really liked it.

Reasonable prices, good thai food, and a really nice place,. verging on "special dinner out" - and amazing service. I think this proves again Malaysian and Thai places have some of the best service protocols - they watch like hawks for when you need something but are otherwise blending into the wall paper.

We had standard pad thai and cashew chicken and the deep fried banana. Nothing fancy but these were done and presented beautifully. Becasue

Thai night Part Two. I had to go for a sure thing tonight as Part One on Tuesday at another Thai place in Kits was a bomb. We have been going to Taste of Thai for years (used to be Wimaan). It's literally a mom and pop restaurant. Husband runs front of house and the wife is in the kitchen as the "head chef". The kids are helping with dishes and waiting tables.

The food here always brings me back to Thailand. The authenticity of Thai flavours...salty, sour, spicy, sweet ...were evident in every dish we had tonight. Their pride is shown in the presentation of the food and they don
