Never in my life have I had a worse experience at a hotel. The staff violated our privacy in a most disrespectful way while we were in our room. To add insult to injury the Night Manager David, spends the rest of the evening gaslighting us on what happened. Zero accountability or awareness of respecting their patrons.

After almost year of no travel due to the pandemic, we decided to have a Valentines staycation at the Wedgewood. Best decision! Immediately at arrival we were warmly greeted by staff. The room was very nice and… spacious with a king bed, wet bar and sitting area. The hotel was super quiet and the bed was very comfortable. A great night’s sleep and a morning lounging in leisure before breakfast in the hotel lounge. Then off to the spa for a very good couples massage with Stephanie and Erin (?) They have heated massage tables which was wonderful on a cold snowy day. We’ll definitely

My husband and I spent this past weekend at the hotel. The staff was courteous however the hotel double charged our credit card and we had to email the hotel to get our reimbursement. We also were charged a $17 parking tax on top of gst for valet parking with zero disclosure about it. When we complained to the manager he didn’t seem to care. We… spent about $1000 at the hotel from Friday night to Sunday morning and felt the hotel should have reversed the $17 especially after the hassle we dealt with when the hotel messed up. Not impressed and I do not recommend them.

This review is for front of house staff. Was in an emergency trying to get a cab across town with no luck. Irish fellow who was the doorman went out of the way to help me, with a sense of urgency that was appreciated. He was able to get a cab for me even though it turned out to be a cruise ship rush. He explained the situation and gave me some context, which was super helpful. Made my day better, and I made the meeting just in time. Please give him a customer service medal.

6 stars if I could! Bellhop, housekeeping staff, check-in staff, restaurant staff, spa staff provided exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond our expectations. Sam was excellent in providing us with any information/tickets we needed. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Wedgewood!

Superior customer services (front desk, valet, spa, in-room, and other extra complimentary services), clean and at great location! Booked this place via hotels.com and the place is def worth every pennies! We did the 60min duet/couple massage for $280 (taxes not included) and wow was it wonderful! The steam room afterward was refreshing!! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a weekend getaway to eat, shop and/or just to relax and be pampered at the spa!!

This review is for the spa only.

The service and at attentiveness of both the front desk and massage therapists were excellent. We got coffee prior to the treatment and complimentary sparkling wine after (during Valentine's Day weekend,) as well as a bottle of water, and tea by request. We did a couple's massage and the massage definitely helped me feel a lot less tense in my back and legs - the pressure was on point!

I love the co-ed eucalyptus steam room; as most steam rooms I've been in are in the female/male change rooms so me and my boyfriend enjoyed that.

Minus 1 star

Pros:
-Room was unexpectedly huge, especially the living room area
- Close to everything in downtown, not quite walking distance(but short taxi ride)
- Steam room comes with being a hotel guest

Cons:
-Spa and amenities are extremely small to have "Spa" in your hotel name.
- Parking expensive due to downtown location

I'd stay here again due to large room sizes. Really good value and good service.

We love the Wedgewood Hotel! Everyone here is friendly and courteous from the bell hop to the maids. We drove up from Seattle for Christmas and this hotel did not disappoint. The maids left complimentary bottles of water and cookies for us every day. The toiletries were from L'Occitane and were pleasant smelling.

Valet is CAD $35 a day (not including tax), so we opted to park in Paramount Place overnight. Paramount Place is a block away from the hotel and had a well-lit parking lot. We paid about CAD $20-25 a day to keep our car there.

We stayed at the Wedgewood for two nights. The room was impeccable. The housekeepers obviously work hard and deserve recognition for their work. Every night, we would come back to our room being tidied up and two warm cookies on the bedside table... Even chocolates welcomed us first into the room. You can't beat that.

The bed was comfy and pillows were perfect making for a good night's rest.

The location of the hotel is great. Right downtown and near Robson Square. With it being Christmas time, this makes it even more delightful.

Parking was a bit annoying as I didn't wanna

If you are looking for a gorgeous, quiet, relaxing, charming hotel in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, you cannot go wrong with this place. It starts with the superior service, as you pull up to the front of the hotel, the Valets and Doormen are there to greet you in a very friendly and hospitable manner, and help you with your bags. Then you walk into the place, and you see how grand it is, from the beautiful foyer with the fireplace and older look of the woodwork, furniture and antiques. Then the hotel staff is very friendly, as to welcome you and to check you in. They even take your bags

We were made to feel like the only guests of the hotel from the moment we arrived to celebrate our first anniversary staycation.

Check-in was quick, kind and efficient and our room was immaculate topped off by the in-room jacuzzi tub and large balcony overlooking downtown Vancouver. Despite the smoke haze from the wildfires we enjoyed an afternoon playing board games on the balcony. The staff even delivered a complimentary box of chocolates while we played. The perfect accompaniment to my recent pregnancy diagnosis.

My husband also tried to surprise me with a couples massage upon arrival. We

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. To start, they were quite accommodating with regard to check in. We stayed on the 3rd floor with balcony overlooking the street. The room felt more like an apartment. It was very large with 2 bathrooms 1 including a hot tub with jets and the second a beautiful stand up shower. It was also the little details that really made our stay enjoyable. The bath robe and slippers in the closet were perfect for going to the steam room (2nd floor) which we enjoyed a few times. They also have a nice workout room. Another detail we loved were the cookies and

It was such a treat that my friend brought me to Wedgewood hotel for an afternoon tea. We came here during the winter holiday and the lounge/restaurant was decorated beautifully with Christmas trees and nutcracker. Even their hightea set was decorated and they had a Christmas theme for the tea as well. There was a great variety of sandwiches and pasteries in the high tea set including some unique ones you don't see often like the toasted crumpets, baby shrimp sandwich, eclairs, and fruit cake. We were quite full by the end and we even had left over treats to bring home!

The hotel is gorgeous! The staff is friendly and professional. We stayed for part of our honeymoon and we were so pleased! Beautiful views from our room, a deep tub (can still see that view), serene and quiet. We booked about 7 months in advance just to make sure we'd get the dates we wanted and a good price- which we did. We will definitely be returning! Carolers were in the decorated lobby, warm cider near a Christmas village display, and the whole entry area smelled of cinnamon. Can't say enough good things about this place.
