I like here when I crave Korean foods. I usually come here with friends. I am disappointed at this time and with their service. What’s the point of giving tips to servers... I left my stuff and got back almost 5-10minutes later as soon as i realized that i left my stuff on the table. I got back and asked them, and she literally said she could not see mine on the table, but I know i left this one 100% on the table 😂. What if I left my wallet or cellphone, then are they going to say the same things they could not see? That’s frustrating ..thank you for that service!

Best Korean fried chicken in the city!
I went to Kosoo restaurant on Robson street in August 2020 with my cousins and a few friends. My cousin's sister loves Korean food and culture, so she picked this place. I have to tell you she picked the best place for Korean fried chicken.
The restaurant was spotless, and the service was excellent. The food was better than we expected. Potions are a good size too.
Today I ordered from Uber eats, and the food is beyond excellent. I would love to recommend Kosoo restaurant for you to try highly. You won’t be disappointed.

The new location is tucked away on the second floor which can be accessed from the first floor stairs. Despite it's hidden away store front, the restaurant is is very spacious and has lots of seating.

My friend and I ordered a SELLEONG- TANG and half an ordered of CHAPSSAL DAK-GANGJEONG fried chicken.

The Selleong Tang was perfect for the cold weather. The beef broth was very flavourful and the perfect milky bone broth consistency. It was accompanied with some sweet potato noodles and a variety of mushrooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the rice! It was made with Korean rice which is a

After going to the christmas market by Canada place, my friends and I came to Kosoo to eat a little more. We arrived at 9:20 and were told that we needed to wait 25 mins. Since it was so cold outside, we decided to wait for a table. I was surprised that there were so many people at such a late hour on a weekday night.

We ordered the bossam and oxtail soup. I thought the oxtail soup really hit the spot with it being super cold outside. The portion was large so we were able to each have a full bowl of soup. The bossam was not as good as I would have expected. It wasn't too flavored and the

We’ve been to this restaurant several times over the last year. I like that they’re always very accommodating in seating us everytime we walk in without reservations. The service was always good and I liked how the waitresses always came around to check on us to make sure that we have enough water and if we wanted more side dishes ( the side dishes are free and complimentary and you can ask for more ). The portion of the food here is quite big. But the last time we were there on december 18 the service was very lacking no one was coming to check on us and we literally had to raise our hands

Such a busy restaurant, I came with my Korean friend, and we really enjoyed this restaurant! The fried chicken is amazing, crispy and so juicy. The bossam and Jokbal are so impressive! Super balanced soy based sauce marinated grilled/braised and notoily not greasy at all.

Kosoo Robson is a great place to go if you want to experience different types of Korean cuisine. You can order a variety of dishes here including the classic yangnyeom Korean fried chicken, Korean BBQ (already cooked for you), and Geongol, which is a Korean Style Hot Pot. Their complimentary kimchi is also excellent!

I highly recommend you to make a reservation because this place is almost always busy. When we arrived at 6:00 PM there were about 12 people waiting in line but when we left around 8:15 PM, there were almost 20 people in line! Typically, they only give you 2 hours of seating

I will give this place more than 5 stars if I could. Wait can be long and you'll have to wait outside the restaurant. Place was full at 530 when we got there. They call when your table is ready. We went to the nearby oomo to kill time, and 30 mins had passed and we got called. Boy, was it worth the wait, add the 5-block walk in the rain and the day before that the 5 hour drive from Seattle and the hour-long border wait. They were THAT good! Open for a year and a half now and getting great business and even greater reviews. Service was great, servers look like k drama stars and the food was

Great spot that opens till late on Robson Street! Had a craving for Korean fried chicken with beer (chi-mac) so we stopped by. We liked the yangnyeom chicken which was a mix of sweet and spicy sauce- just wished it came with a bit more fried tteokbokki and sliced potatoes to complement the dish (I think we only had 3-4 pieces of tteokbokki in ours). Portion sizes were big, so come with a big group. The half size was more than enough for two people. They only serve Kloud beer in jugs not by the bottle, so be prepared to drink by the jugful over here! On the whole, we had a good experience.

For me, their chicken taste just fine. Maybe just not my style or maybe I got the breakfast three hours ago before I visited. I don’t know how to rate this time. But the thermal bottle we got has a fly inside the water.

Had a chance to dine at Kosoo on my last day in Vancouver. The service was good and the food was delicious and plentiful. The Korean BBQ for two is what I would recommend and it is most definitely enough for two.
When I get the chance to revisit Vancouver, Kosoo will be on my shortlist for restaurants to eat at.

We went for lunch and the meal was delicious. The price was moderate and the food was filling. The BBQ ribs are good and the lunch set was full of variety. Sometimes they run out of lunch sets towards end of lunch so better to go earlier in the day.

We came in when the lunch service almost over. The server told us that we only have 9 minutes to order so we rushed ourselves to get our orders ready we called so many times but not sure if they hear us or not but it took forever for someone to get our orders. Nachos was good. I really enjoyed it to think I can't really it spicy food but I kept eating it. Service was a little slow. I've eaten to lots of korean restaurants that I find it weird that they serve the side dishes one at a time. Pork belly was okay. Some of the pork were over cooked it's already hard. Also we had to asked for the lettuce

Great dinner/late night spot! Sleek and modern interiors perfect for groups of friends.

Was a big fan of the fried chicken. The yangnyeom was saucy and sticky with sweet and spicy flavours. The soy garlic was mild in comparison to the yangneom. The chicken was super tender and juicy. They also did a great job with breading. Came with rice cakes and potatoes in the dish.

LA galbi was tender and flavourful. Came with lettuce wraps and kimchi. Also came with a soup.

This was more than enough food for 5 people.

The smell of Korean fried chicken got us in the building and the quality of the food will keep us coming back!
We shared half sizes of the supreme and honey boneless fried chicken; it was a ton of food! They both came with potatoes and rice cakes which soaked up the great sauces and juxtaposed the crunchy fried chicken.
Much of the experience is very patriotic to South Korea; there is lots of photography, artwork, and music that teleports you into Korea.
Great experience, phenomenal food, good service and all at a reasonable price!

Came here with a craving for all Korean food and we decided to order too much food for 2 girls as usual. We had:

Honey Butter Chicken - crispy outside, moist chicken on the inside with a sweet buttery sauce. What's not to love? A very unique flavour

Soy Garlic Chicken - this was good but not stand out as a standard Korean fried chicken flavour. But the chicken again was crispy outside and moist inside - well done.

Jokpal - this was the highlight!! Do not miss out. I love jokpal and just had to try it here. The skin to fat to meat ratio on each slice was perfect and precision. The skin had

Tried the half and half Jokbal and Bossam and the flavours and textures were great! My only issue is that the half&half doesn't come with any of the sides that comes with either the Jokbal or Bossam individually, even though it costs more than each respective dish. So essentially you just get a plate of the meat with sliced scallions, nothing else. We also tried our friend's Yangyeom Chibap and fried chicken which was really tasty.
Service is very good. We waited about 30 minutes for our table on a Friday evening.

Best tasting authentic Korean dishes. We expected on the table kind of bbq grill set-up but since it’s not, we just hoped for a tasty Korean dishes and they did not disappoint us. The meals that we orders were the best and authentic when it comes to the taste. The servers were really helpful and accommodating. We’ll definitely come back for more.

FINALLY ABLE TO DINE IN . Since we are now finally able to dine in, one of our first places we went was this restaurant. Its a place I've always wanted to try since it was all over my feed!

Kimchi Jjigae ($15) ~ this was ok, I liked the fillings in this. It came with a load of rice too which is a perfect pair with the soup. I did wish it was a bit spicier and have more flavours, as I feel like majority was just soup and kimchi (which is good), but lacked some flavours and seasoning.

H/Supreme Chicken ($17) ~ THIS IS SO BOMB! I loved it, super crispy and the flavours were outstanding.

Their fried chicken has always been a go-to for whenever I'm in Vancouver, but I also had the chance to try their Bossam today as well!

Tender and fatty - the Bossam came paired with an assortment of condiments and sauces as well. It was even more of a treat because it was a buy one get one free deal on UberEats! (Saved quite a bit since Bossam can usually be quite hefty in price).

If you're looking for some delicious Korean food, Kosoo is a must try!

We came here on Monday, but found out they were closed, so we decided to come the next day for dinner.

We ordered a bunch of different dishes from the menu to try out their food selection. We ordered a half portion of the boneless Honey Butter Fried Chicken, the Kimchi Pancake, the Spicy Chicken Feet, and the Beef Short Rib Soup.

Based on how popular their fried chicken was from positive customer ratings, I had high expectations for the dish. The honey butter chicken was not my favourite, to say the least. The potatoes were rock hard, and the fried batter was too dense. I also found that there

I've been to this Kosoo a couple of times, and the one on Cardero a couple of times as well. This location on Robson is a lot more casual and easygoing. Staff are also friendly and attentive.

We ordered their original fried chicken, kimchi jjigae, and selleong-tang which was definitely one of the most flavourful ox bone soups I have tried! This was definitely the star of the show as I thought the kimchi jjigae was lacking a bit in flavour. Both soups come with a bowl of rice which makes it filling. Was disappointed in the original fried chicken, as it was really bland for me. Make sure you

Takeout: so rating is based on order, pickup and food.

Ordered online, pick up about 10-mins later than scheduled as the order wasn't ready, staff were friendly and apologetic for the delay.

Very likely some of the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had - and somehow it travelled well! How this deep fried chicken remained crisp and hot, having travelled in takeout containers in 8'C weather is beyond me.

Opted for the half/half bone in fried chicken: honey butter / golden crispy options. For anyone that enjoys the the savoury & sweet combination would love the honey butter

Highly recommend. The fried chicken tastes fantastic. Will definitely try other dishes next time.

I ordered half and half fried chicken to take out. The chicken is tender and juicy, served with small crabs, corns and white radish pickles. Yangnyeom flavor is a mixture of sweet and spicy, which I prefer.

The new location on Robson is a bit of deviation from the original concept of Korean fusion on Cardero. With its brighter and more spacious setting upstairs with a great view of Robson, the atmosphere offers a easygoing comfort food feel.

Lots of waitresses working the floor considering the seating capacity is more than half Ed due to COVID. They are all attentive and speaks politely.

The fried chicken is the star with good variety. The classic sweet and spicy is tasty. I do want to see if we can have the sauce on the side next time as we found the pieces doused with sauce at the bottom

Stopped by at this new location after hearing about their $15 lunch menu for the month of February 2020.

The ambience is quite nice and you get views of the bustling Robson Street. Big windows mean lots of natural light filters in and makes the place look bright.

For the lunch sets (usually $20, and in my opinion still a steal), you can choose between spicy tofu and miso soup, and then beef vs pork belly. I choose miso soup and then the beef. The side dishes (SO MANY) are tasty, versatile, and refillable! Ranged from seaweed, to fried chicken, to fish and pickled vegetables. You also get a
