This is an amazing place to stay in the core of Toronto. I had issues with my reservation made through a third party website. Danny was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to honor our reservation. It's the only place I'll stay from now on. The rooms are beautiful and the service is outstanding.

Good value for money. Central. Very spacious, comfortable bed. Staff very friendly, efficient and attentive. I'll definitely use it again. Practic and convenientl. Not for someone seeking luxury. 4 stars because the place still need some maintenance here and there, but nothing that would make the stay unpleasant.

My stay was memorable but not in a positive way at all.
They advertize renovated suites, I got a nasty one, no table to eat, no desk to work, dirty floor. No alarm clock in the bedroom. An old used up couch. Nowhere to eat and/work in a confortable position.
I asked about the fitness centre, front desk tells me it's closed because of Covid, that only if I have a session with a trainer I can go, Covid really...
Obviously, what you see on their page isn't what you get.
I did not enjoy my experience at all.

Nice place to stay when you are in Downtown, Toronto. They have different types of rooms and the building is newly renovated(At least the two of the floors I visited). The staffs and inn-keepers are kind and helpful.
Covid19 notes: The inn-keepers do not sanitize the hands or the materials in between cleaning the rooms.

Hi everyone thank you for taking the time to read my post.
All I can really say about this place is that it's clean quiet and some parts meaning depending what day of the week you stay here the only thing that annoys me or makes me nervous is this there's no security or much of any stuff at the front entrance anybody can really walk into this hotel and not be told or asked anyting. There is a lot of noise during the day because of construction of new condos being built in the area so be aware of that but you'll be happy to know that there is a 24-hour Hasty Market open all night n day as well

The concierge was clearly prejudice, used threatening language and raised his voice at us (four women). Without a doubt -- racist. We checked in, dropped our bags off and left for dinner. As we left the concierge pointed to us and said "that's them". We hadn't even been in the hotel for a half hour. When we returned from dinner, they called and said there had been a multitude of noise complaints and if they had to call again they would tell us to leave. We turned off the tv and whispered to each other but they called again trying to kick us out without real cause. When I challenged them, he raised

I probably should have read the reviews thoroughly prior to booking however I went based off of the photos and the price was fairly right! After reading the reviews I called to ensure that I’d be getting the same room feature in the photos and I was told that would be the case. Upon arriving for check-in the first red flag was not having my room ready. They then gave me the option of two other rooms, one was newly renovated but did not have the kitchenette I initially opted for so without checking the second room I decided to go with it. The room looked nothing like the photos. The only highlight

The AC keeps shutting down and makes the heat unbearable. The rooms and space is good. The suite i was in is almost like a one bedroom apartment. They keep balconies locked so u will suffocate half the time because no matter how many times u complain and however many times they send people over to check the ac will shutdown every hour or so

They need to put on their website no facilities are available and no ice due to Covid. We were looking forward to the pool and sauna after a long day as it's listed on the website. They need to let people know all the things that are not available that are promised on their web site. Room was very nice and clean. No food or drinks available on-site either.

The pictures are catfish, the floor are extremely dirty with what looks like pee stains. The furniture is all scratched up, marks all over the walls, glasses so foggy I didn't wanna put any drinks in them. Paying for wifi on top of paying 354 for ONE NIGHT. You can definitely tell that this use to be a run down old apartment that they tried to turn around with just a few coats of paint and some new appliances. No Netflix on the tv (even if you wanna log in your own account) nothing interesting just basic news, if you're here with a family. You'll be very bored

JUST HORRIBLE, newly - renovated maybe in 1960. Curtains yellow. Doorways and walls chipped and cracked, closet doors rusted. Tiny tiny bathroom for a 2 bedroom. Room was never cleaned once for our entire stay. Pictures extremely misleading, rooms DO NOT look like pictures on website. Hallways are disgusting, dirty, old, smell bad. On check-in demanded a $750 deposit. This place is the worst suite I have ever stayed in. Should be avoided! FURTHER MORE A SCAM, when we booked the rate it showed $320 per night. When you get the confirm, it doesn't show room rate only taxes! Very Odd! When you

Wasn't me but my friend who's from out of the city, checked in for 20 minutes and was displeased with the room. The room had a smell that just smelt like someone took a big ol' crap in there, the balcony was facing a wall. Cracks in the ceilings and scratches in the walls. He wanted to book another so he went to the front desk to ask for a refund, he spent 4 hours on the train to get to Toronto and he was just tired. Upon arrival he was asked to make a $500 deposit, that's ridiculous! I went to the most expensive hotel and it only had a $200 deposit!! Now they won't give

Good things first; cheap for the area (standard room), nice indoor pool, and close to lots of bars and restaurants.

First things first, the only thing that should get 5 stars is the photographer they hired for the website photos. That gal or guy is a pro because the rooms and hotel itself don't look anything like the photos they post. Maybe they have a room used just for photos?...

Arrival didn't start well as the front driveway was blocked with service staff and their vehicles. We had to go inside and ask the front desk to have them move so we could pull in off the street and out

We stayed at the Town Inn for 3 weeks after moving to Canada while looking for a place to live. We staying in the "luxury" king suite, lol.

To start with, the front desk and the rest of the staff is helpful, thoughtful, and kind.

That being said, the hotel is awful. You can't set the AC, so better hope that the centrally set temperature isn't too hot or too cold (it will be both). Everything in the "luxury" suite was dusty and shoddily done (comically bad painting, room nothing like the website pictures). The bathroom fan never worked. After 3 days the bathroom sink

Upon arrival, we were given a room that looked nothing like the rooms pictured online but were switched to a "better" one when we asked and went back and forth. It was updated but had paint chipping, scratches on the walls, the balcony was not accessible, the pool room needs to be updated, ice machine didn't work, room had a funny smell the entire time, and the linens were stained. Besides the convenient location, this is not a great stay. Even the phones to call the front desk hardly worked. They were kind and had good customer service, but this hotel is definitely dissappointing

Don't be fooled by the pictures. This hotel is not as advertised. Could not have access to the balcony in the room, there was only 1 ice machine in the lobby and it wasn't even working. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. As a person who works in the service industry, I was very shocked at the service I received.
And the rooms look nothing like the pictures on their website. Do not book here.

Great location, abrasive staff. The location of this hotel is great. Close to plenty of amenities and as it is in a quaint neighbourhood it felt very safe. The room was also updated and modern so unlike other yelpers I was fortunate enough to receive a renovated one. HOWEVER, whatever you do, make sure you don't make the mistake of asking the night desk attendant for an extra blanket. After I was told that there were none and he was too busy to look himself, I returned to my room to use one of the hotel bath towels. At this point, he returned, with what I can only assume was the itchiest blanket

We are paying 500 dollars a night and the bed sheets had yellow stains in them and hair clumps on them. As well, the door to the bathroom is split in two and the walls are extremely dirty. The bathtub has chips out of it, and not all people are included in the breakfast, which is across the street. The carpet is unclean and appears outdated in the hallways and the elevators are small and lack floor indicators on most floors. Also, the elevators are not accessible by wheelchairs from your underground parking. The cupboards are falling apart and there is no dish liquid or cloth available in the

The room was just bad I was told I'd get an upgrade with a "renovated room" I don't even want to know what the old ones looked like...

SO overpriced, for $30 more I could have stayed at the Sheraton which is MUCH nicer and closer to downtown.

Only chose this place because it said they had balconies but come to find out they're permanently locked!!!

The only good thing was the kitchen with a full stove& fridge but I didn't need to use for a short stay but wouldn't want to be here for an extended stay for sure.

I honestly WISH I COULD ATTACH THE VIDEO. so that all my fellow Yelpers can LISTEN to the horrid bloody construction going on RIGHT ABOVE MY BED. I literally feel like the ceiling is going to collapse and I will be flattened by some over weight construction man, drywall, cement and a FKN SLEDGE HAMMER. if I could rate this "inn" in NEGATIVE stars it would be unbelievably pleasing for my thumbs to give this place an even more negative review. Good riddance.

I played myself by booking this hotel at the last minute and not reading reviews like I usually do. It was an incredibly unfortunate experience for me. I'll admit it's my fault that my expectations were based on the website and I didn't do my research to see which room types were pictured there.

The Room- Bad
Junior Suite Queen and Double Bed
Based on the pictures from the website, I was expecting stainless appliances, wall decor and a few other very basic amenities (like a clean floor or a hook in the bathroom). Unfortunately, I was placed in a room that was very poorly cared

The rooms were clean and the staff were as pleasant and accommodating as could be, but even that wasn't enough to make this anything better than the worst hotel experience in memory.

1. Any hotel in Canada, in winter, should at the very least make sure that the rooms are properly heated. Our living room was fine, but the bedroom was absolutely freezing as the windows weren't sealed properly. By the time we realized that the situation wasn't going to get better (we thought the heating was just slow), it was the middle of the night and we were exhausted and moving to a different room

IT WAS A COMPLETWLY FABRICATED, CRAPPY ROOM. No baking sheets or frypan in the kitchen either. Only one bedsheet and the furnace is either too hot or too cool; now I have a dry throat as a result for the rest of the week. There's plaster in the bathtub and the hot/cold knobs are reversed. $14/ night for Wifi and the TV takes forever (has HDMI). The only positive is the cozy layout and leather couches. As a plus, the staff were friendly but NO HEALTH CARDS will be accepted at front desk. The photos with the nice beds (taken from the website) IS A COMPLETE LIE!
EDIT: Yelp took my image away

I've experienced much better and this hotel property has experience much better days. The suites are tired looking and the furniture is cheap. The staff at the hotel are doing their best but it's quite clear that the people who manage/run the hotel aren't really interested in sprucing it up or modernizing it.

It's just the little things like, I don't know, the shower not being 100% clean, the peeling wallpaper in the living room or no hooks on the back of the doors in the bathroom or bedroom or how all of the stuff on the kitchen counter doesn't really fit.

Be forewarned

I was ok with the place. it was kinda cool.

I didnt like hearing a 2nd story about billing at check out. The rep was arguing with me about my rate. It took 20 mnutes to finally get the message loud and clear to him as I was going to get the rate I was told. No one should have to put up a battle and/or have the story change. Thats why their rating on here isnt a 5. Otherwise, I would have given them a 5.

It can be like a mixed bag of candy's you never know what you're going to get.
I have stayed at this hotel close to 20 times now over the years. It is always my first choice to stay in while visiting Toronto. For what you're getting overall it is a good priced hotel. The location is perfect. You get a kitchen which will save money. Some rooms even have a washer/dryer in suit.

It can however be a hit or miss with the rooms. They are all different. Some are amazing and updated while others are older and are in need of repair. I have been very lucky dealing with the amazing staff.

I stayed here a while ago and am just getting around to writing the review so part of what I comment on may be moot BUT if you go here and they assign you an older room that has not yet been renovated ask to be changed to a room that looks like what is on the brochure. When I got there late at night and was given a room which reeked of cigarettes and stale booze, I complained and was immediately moved to another room. The change was slightly better and smelled a lot better. In the morning I spoke with the day manager and was given a room that was recently renovated and wifi charges was waived.
