Reserved on booking.com for a 3 person stay, when we arrived in the morning to drop-off our bags, no-one mentioned anything regarding a 2 person per room covid policy… had to wait all day for checking in at 3PM. When we came at 3PM for checking in, we were told about a “policy that has been in place since march 2020” and it was a booking.com error (BUT for some reason we could still book for 3 people in any other booking sites… seems like a global error…)and that a “50m2 was too small for 3 people” and that we have to book a second room. Has to be one of the worst checking in experience

Well the stay was okay. Nice room but it's been weeks and about a dozen phone calls to get the 400 dollar deposit off my credit account. I keep getting promises that it will be taken off... all to no avail. It's been a nightmare. Avoid this place unless you want to pat 600 dollars for a mediocre room

Nice, large sized room. The bed was not very comfortable at all and the screen door for the "balcony" was broken and just hanging off. The balcony was about a 5 inch cement pad with a railing, not even enough room to stand outside. The bathroom and shower were nice though we did find a few bobby pins that were not mine before we started to unpack. Several features in the kitchen were missing - it came with a kitchenette but only one set of a knife and fork and 2 plates - no cups or anything to cook with. The service was fine .... the front desk seemed very annoyed if you called with a question

This is not a 4 star hotel in anyway shape or form. I feel the advertising for this hotel is dated thus slightly deceptive! The room looks nothing like the photos and everything is quite weathered.
As many others have mentioned in reviews, they don’t clean the place throughly at all, dishes were dirty and the drawers had dirt in them.
The toiletries are all low grade products I’d never put on my body. Toilet pater is super thin.
However the staff has been wonderful.
Bed is comfortable.
Probably won’t stay here again.

For the price, I’d stay at a more established hotel chain with a better guarantee of minimum quality and attention to detail. The photos, reviews, and hotel’s website look good, but my experience was disappointing. The photos are probably heavily edited, so don't believe everything you see in the photos.
The Studio room had an awkward, cramped layout. The luggage stand didn’t fit my checked bag, and there wasn’t much space in the room to put luggage. Some of the amenities listed online were missing, like slippers and an in-room safe.

I wish I could rate this higher but 3 feels even too generous. I booked this the week of so I knew going into it I would be paying a premium but it still felt like too high of a price for what we got.
CONS:
-parking is an extra $45
-bed was pretty stiff and overall furniture felt pretty cheap
-no keurig or drinks of any kind
-the room didn't seem super clean and there was the tiniest amount of toilet paper on the one and only roll provided.
PROS:
-pillows are comfy AF
-the folks at the front desk were super friendly and were both quick and efficient

Booked last minute online which lead to some missed requirements on my part. When we showed up to check in, they were very accomodating to our situation and made sure we still got our money's worth. Very nice rooms, oddly satisfying bathroom lighting and cozy bedding. There's also stacked laundry in the unit we were in and a small kitchen with a safe under the cabinet.
The roomkey is required to bring the elevator up which makes you feel a lot safer if you are travelling alone

I love this hotel! The GM, Evan, and all his excellent team members have been fabulous. Even though we are all having to deal with these difficult times these days, the staff at this hotel are happy to help their customers however they can. It was fantastic to be back in Toronto again and this is the hotel I will be staying at. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a large balcony and kitchen, very clean, great views, super comfortable bed. Thank you Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan! We will be back!
