My hairstylist was Say (Sayyeda Mulla), and she was absolutely fantastic!
When I scheduled my appointment with Say my hair was an absolute disaster, I mean a train-wreck of knots, tangles, and matted hair. I was so embarrassed at the state of my hair that I constantly wore a hoodie/beanie to hide it . . . but Say was able to transform it into an amazing hairstyle that I am so happy and content with! It was like a literal miracle and I can't wait to show off my new hairstyle!

I went in to get my hair trimmed and have a full head of highlights with Shauna. I have A LOT of hair and it took many hours, but I appreciated the attention to detail Shauna took the entire time. I also really appreciated that she never complained about how long it was taking or how much hair I have, as I have had this happen many times in the past, and it makes me feel like I am a burden. Shauna even took the time to give me a glorious scalp massage while washing my hair. She listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. I haven’t had my hair this blonde in years and it feels and looks amazing

The experience was fantastic from the moment I stepped inside, all three staff present were so welcoming and warm, the environment is GORGEOUS, plants and statues and diffusers etc, it really felt like stepping into another world. Shauna was beyond lovely and general energy of the place was peaceful. Shauna transformed my hair in both colour and cut and it was exactly what I wanted and in truth, I can finally leave my hair be but will be coming back to see Shauna for the incredible head massage alone!

New salon & stylist to me. When booking they made space to get me in during a busy time which was much appreciated. Crista the owner was indicated on their site as specializing in cutting curly/wavy hair which as someone with curly/wavy hair is what I need. She took the time to understand my needs, made sure to listen, adapted & made sure I was comfortable giving feedback today & going forward. The cut I had today was excellent & I expect it will grow out well & continue to be stylish & attractive as it does. I’ve booked my next cut for a few weeks from now & am feeling happy with my decision

I've seen Chris two times in the past week and both times I have been SO happy with my hair. The first time I got a keratin smoothing treatment (which is honestly life changing and I would recommend it to anyone) and the second was today for a cut and colour. I am so in love with my hair right now; I have never left a salon feeling so happy with the way my hair turned out. We were delighted that we brought Crista Quijada, the owner and hairstylist of Xtophers salon to the Westin Bear Mountain Bear Victoria to do the hair of the entire wedding party.
Crista already does my daughter's hair, two of the bridesmaids and my hair. From the moment our daughter got engaged she wanted to Crista to be the stylist for all of us.
Crista was very enthusiastic and supportive from the very beginning. Laura had trial runs with Crista and I did too. She is an expert with colour and hair cuts.
On the wedding day May 18, she arrived to the hotel suite at 630 am and began with

I had two babies in 2.5 years and my hair was a total train wreck when I decided to book a consultation with Chris. The color and texture of my hair had completely changed and I had no idea what to do with it, but Chris did! As my hair was super fragile, Chris used gentle products and processes to gradually lighten my hair and we have kept it shorter than it previously had been to hide some of the texture/thinning issues. I have been going here for 2+ years now. Hands down the best salon and only place I get my haircut. My hair grows funky and they were able to tame it and make it easier to control as well as grow nicely. I love the environment there and getting your hair and face washed after is a nice touch.
If you're changing salons, I definitely recommend switching to Xtopher's.

I decided to try Xtophers because it is closer to home. It is more expensive than the person I had been going to but who was only available 3 days a week, often not that convenient for me. My stylist is Lataya. She is somewhat new and gaining experience. I was apprehensive at first but she does a beautiful job. I was happy with the first appointment and have gone back. Christopher came over the second time around and gave some suggestions, he even styled my hair a bit. This was my first hair cut in a number of years, and I was very impressed at the amount of attention I got from Christopher and Lataya. They both walked me through a joint consultation to lay out a plan for the cut, and spent a good amount of time explaining their ideas, strategy, and why they thought it would work well. The cut itself turned out great. Lataya did a nice job, and Christopher popped by every now and again with advice and thoughts about how to trim things up. Really professional and top notch service. You can tell Christopher truly loves cutting hair! Highly recommend.

I went to Xtophers for the first time yesterday and am so glad I did. Crista is great! She really heard what I was looking for, added her ideas and proceeded to give me the best cut and colour I've had in a very long time. It's what I wanted but much better. Crista is very warm and welcoming, as is the salon overall, so you feel at ease right away. I really liked that it was a smaller place with a really friendly feel. Everyone, clients and stylists, seemed happy to be there. I'm hooked and would highly recommend Crista and Xtophers.
