Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies. 1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, spays and neuters, dental services, and more! Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff.
Serving the community since the 1980's, the Strathmore Veterinary Clinic is conveniently located one minute south of the Trans Canada Highway in the commercial district of Strathmore, which lies only 30 minutes east of Calgary. We are a small animal veterinary practice providing compassionate care for companion animals.
We've been to a number of vets in Calgary and tried the trek out to Strathmore on a recommendation. They are well worth the 45-minute drive from Calgary. All of the vets we've encountered there are very knowledgeable, professional and reasonable with their diagnoses and advice. It was our first time at this office with my cat who had an abscessed tooth.

Great Service. The girls were amazing with my border collie/Shepard. She is very people scared (we try and socialize as much as possible) but they were very calm and understanding with her. The vet even had me stay with her to continue keeping her calm while the anesthesia kicked in. She's at home now and recovering well :) I did put in a call today just in regards to her incision, Sara was very reassuring on the phone and explained the post operation cleaning they do and that it's likely just some dry blood but she would still have a vet look at the photos I sent over. Overall I am very impressed

Our puppy was so well taken care of during his vaccine and microchipping! The vet that helped was amazing, and was very knowledgeable and patient to the dozens of questions I asked. We're coming back for the next doses of vaccines, but the comfort of having the best hospitality just makes the drive from the city worthwhile.

Took my little dog there for neuter. They are great! Not only do they tattoo when neutering, but they also do complimentary nail trim. Took really good care of my dog, and made sure to follow up with me the next day to check on him. This will be my go to get from now on. Their prices are so much better than in the city, and the staff are great!

I have taken my pets here for years, the service is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and also very compassionate, we have had to put two older pets down and shortly after we received beautiful sympathy cards. Whenever we go there if you have any question, you never feel rushed or like you are taking up their time. I highly recommend this clinic it is a 5 star Clinic to our family.

I truly appreciate every single person there. My pup is 9.5 months old, and I've had to go to the vet many times already, for various things. Most recent was he jumped out of my husbands arms and landed funny. He ended up breaking his fibula and moving his growth plate in his knee.
The lady (I can't remember her name) was very helpful and all the… receptionist there was all willing to work with me and my insurance so that I could pay the 20%. She told me exactly what was going to happen, referred me to an Animal hostpital for an orthopedic surgeon. Now my little one is walking okay, trying
