At Dr. Jennifer Yu Optometry Centre, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a licensed optometrist.
Contact lenses are not an easy solution for every person suffering with vision problems. Some eye conditions make wearing contacts a difficult proposition. Dr. Yu is such a wonderful optometrist. She, not only, possesses knowledge and experiences in this field, but her patience and the care she has towards me and my dry-eye condition is beyond...like no other. Not to mention her staff, they are as kind and as easy to speak with. My dry-eye condition was in such a bad state that my eyes were infected. After several follow-ups, the infection went away and we started focusing on my dry-eyes. With the help of Dr. Yu, the process was slow but effective. Dr. Yu is so awesome. It was my first visit in her office. Well within 5 minutes, she was able to help me get my new prescriptions done. I was there for a new pair of prescriptions safety goggles for my laboratory work. She marked the plain lenses on the chosen goggles carefully and I assumed those marks were for proper PD. She wanted to make sure I would feel comfortable with them. I really appreciated that. Dr. Yu was offering prescription safety glasses for all front line workers in the spring, and I am happy with her services. It is true that her office is busy with many patients, but in my case her staff was polite and all my needs were answered in a timely manner. Plus, her office stayed opened when many were shut down. Gave me the wrong prescription because she was so rushed, misdiagnosed me with lazy eye, had to pay another eye doctor to get my eyes rechecked. Did not clearly explain to me how to put the contact lenses on. Takes on way to many patients at once. She is only caring about getting you out of there so she can move on to her next patient.
