Services
We offer a variety of services from eye examinations and designer eyewear to specialized treatment. A full eye examination involves thorough evaluation of ocular health and function. This includes assessment of visual function, provision of eyeglass and/or contact lens prescriptions, diagnosis and management of eye diseases, as well as evaluation of systemic conditions that may affect the eyes.

Fantastic experience. Friendly, patient and accommodating. They took the time to listen and answered and addressed all my concerns. Detailed all solutions and provided next steps if those solutions did not provide the results.
Nice selection of eye-wear to choose from which I purchased the same day as the exam.

My experience at Ironwood Optometry was exceptional. I felt safe as the staff followed strict protocol during this pandemic. Dr Kim is very knowledgeable and suggested different options for my busy lifestyle. As my vision has been getting more ‘complicated,’ I can finally see well near and far, without headaches. His office staff were also kind and patient and helped me choose the right frames. The range of frame selection is excellent, without being too overwhelming. I just love my new contacts and glasses. My children, husband and father-in-law have now all switched to Ironwood Optometry

Dr Kim and his staff are fantastic. Most optometrists would just do a standard eye exam and call it a day. However Dr Kim goes above and beyond what’s necessary and explains all the details of what he’s looking at and what he thinks is good or bad. He also invests heavily in his practice (he has new machine for examination. Now you doesn’t even need those eye drops that massively increases your light sensitivity). Covid preparation is also second to none as you can’t even walk into the practice unless you have an appointment and a mask. Kudos to you Dr Kim and your fantastic team.

My husband and I have been patients here for approx. 3 years (previously with a Vancouver optometrist for 35+ years until he retired). We have found the service at this clinic to be exceptional from the minute we walk in the door. The staff are very kind, helpful and cheerful. AMAZING! The staff was welcoming, helpful and so friendly! Dr. Kim was absolutely amazing with my 8 year old, guiding him through his first eye exam and taking the time to thoroughly explain everything to us. The facility is very clean and the staff took extra precautions to clean the equipment before my son used it. We opted for the additional screening of the eye, which Dr. Kim took the time to review in detail. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and Ironwood Optometry.
