Dr. Yu is thorough, professional, and basically everything you can ask for in an optometrist. He managed to catch two retina holes in a span of 2.5 years that I was able to seek treatment for immediately upon referral to a specialist. I am impressed with Dr Yu's expertise and thorough approach in examination and explanation. He is consistent year over year, not only the first appointment.
It's an hour drive, I would keep going to him as its worth it than others jumping to prescription paper.

I took my dad went to see Dr. Yu for a growth on his eye. Dr. Yu was very kind and generous and caring and referred my dad to see another ophthalmologist for a follow-up. We were just visiting Canada and did not know which doctor's to see, but Dr. Yu was kind enough to help us out. He reached out to multiple ophthalmologists for us as it was the holidays and a lot were busy and/or closed until we found one. Afterwards, he also called us to follow-up as well, he really cared about the outcome of my Dad's eye. Very highly recommended. Great doctor, great service, very caring. Thank you Dr. Yu.

Very thorough and professional. Have easily walked in doe quick check-ups and have been very accommodating. Checks everything (pressure, peripherals, surface and inside eye health, sight).

Busy always. Take rudely while being busy. No patience to kids. Doesn’t change gloves between patients, not even use hand sanitizer. For kids, he did super simple exam only, not in detail and always be rush.

My boyfriend and I went in yesterday to get our eyes checked and Dr Yu was so informative and very knowledgeable. We left our appointment talking about how great Dr. Yu was as he took his time to assess us and not just give us a prescription. We will definitely be recommending him to friends and coming back for future check ups!
