Eco Cleaners
We use no harmful chemicals such as Perchloroethylene which has been linked to liver disease, kidney disease and reproductive disorders. It's used by 85% of the dry cleaning industry. Petroleum is marketed as "Organic Cleaning" and "Environmentally Friendly Cleaning" Don't be misled; there is nothing green about "Organic" dry cleaning methods.

It too is toxic. Gallons upon gallons of these toxic chemicals soak and are infused into your clothes during a regular wash spreading toxic fumes into your home. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) found that levels of dry cleaning chemicals remain in a home as long as one week after placing freshly dry cleaned clothes in the closet.

I called to ask how much is to clean a winter jacket and they told me it starts from $40, $50 or $60!!! That's insane. I dry cleaned my jacket at guarantee dry cleansers on mt pleasant and Eglinton for $17! I also have never paid for dry cleaning anything more than $19 which was a long silk dress. There are at least 6 dry cleaners on mt pleasant between davisville and Eglinton and they all do a great job. I would say try elsewhere.

I highly recommend Eco Cleaners to anyone who needs their garments cleaned and altered. They don't use the same harsh and toxic chemicals as other dry cleaners do. I have very sensitive skin and cannot have my garments cleaned at the dry cleaners. I had it done there and had no allergic reaction! They work is of high quality and the customer service is amaizing, especially from ownen Tim. Great location and good business hours too! I bough a wedding dress at a sample sale and it needed to be cleaned and altered. I had them clean, alter and press my wedding dress and they did a great job! Thank

This was my first time ever using a dry cleaner. Last month, I went in and spoke with the gentleman at the counter who assured me that I could get two suit jackets cleaned and ready in two days time for a friend's wedding. I mentioned that I would need to pick them up on the Saturday morning. He said this was no problem and mentioned that, as a first time customer, I get a discount. I think "fantastic".

Fast forward to pick-up day. I'm told by a different staff member that my suit jackets are not ready. I inform her that I was told they would be ready by morning. She goes

I am impressed with this establishment and the way they handle things with their customers. Even when there's a hiccup in the service they acknowledge it and know how to make it up to their customers. Would highly recommend.

I went here to dry clean a tie that had a stain. They charged me over $8 for one small tie, and didn't even get the stain out! When I commented that the stain was still there they told me "when you bring it in next time we'll try again".

Why would I bring it in again if they couldn't get it out the first time? Sorry guys why not try your best the first time. Understandable all stains cannot come out, but for over $8 for a tie this is disappointing...

Will take business elsewhere next time. Have a suit to clean and got quoted $25 here. No thanks...

This company came up when I searched 1 hour dry cleaner in Toronto. When I called I was hung up on the first time. The second time the guy rushed me through, and I ended up calling him back to get the price estimate.

I just wanted one dress done, and I was giving them 4 hours instead of just one.

So I walked 15 min in high heels to go hand it over, and after estimating my total between $15-$23, I was handed a bill for $39.95. They told me it was a high price because my dress is formal. OF COURSE IT IS!!! Why else would I be having it dry cleaned? To make matters worse it's really not

Love the concept and don't mind paying the extra price to reduce chemical use from dry cleaning. I brought them a new Burberry dress shirt and when I returned to pick it up the shirt had a hole in it above the chest pocket. The lady said it must have been there before.
The funny thing is it was obvious someone cut the inside of the hole with scissors to clean it up. I can only assume it was ripped in one of their machines and probably the person who did cleaned up the damage.
I don't go there any more as a result of this incident & I'm still upset.
The shirt was fine when

I had a GroupClick(now Dealfind) coupon that I bought last summer and I finally had collected enough items to use on.

I usually avoid dry cleaning because it can quickly get expensive and requires a lot of effort to drop off and pick items up, but unfortunately when you have a suit, spot cleaning just doesn't cut it sometimes.

They do pick-up and drop off of items so you don't have to bring them in yourself, though though I wasn't able to arrange a pick-up, the owner has contacted me to indicate that this was an anomaly. His elderly father, who's english isn't great

My quest for eco dry-cleaners had ended couple of years ago. After much disdain for crispy feel of starch and all the chemicals of conventional dry cleaners this is such a breath of fresh air. I love the smell and feel of the clothes coming out of this place. It's not in my neighbourhood, so it's a destination for my dry-cleaning needs, but it's totally worth the trip. They also pick-up and deliver, I just usually don't have enough volume. The staff people are super nice, and when I sent a link to reusable dry-cleaning bags (http://www.springwise.com/eco_sustainability/reusable
