Straight Up Cycles was established in 2000, as primarily a bicycle service and repair centre. Since then, we have grown into a full-service bike shop in Victoria, that offers new and used road bikes, cyclocross bikes, mountain bikes. At our bike shop, we pride ourselves on specializing in building you the bike of your dreams.
We don't apply a magic formula to bike sales, and we don't use high-pressure sales tactics. We want to help you find the right bike. We guarantee that an uncomfortable bike will not be ridden and we know that an uncomfortable rider will never reach their cycling potential. Every single bike that leaves our shop is fitted to the new owner.

Great job, communicated well, ready when promised. I came in with a short worn and stretched chain, (lost 4 links a while ago), worn out chain ring and cassette. I had new cassette, chain ring and chain installed, and a new bottom bracket (old bearings rusted). Their work improved my bike - quiet, fast, efficient. Price was good and the people at Straight Up listen, answered my questions so I understood what was being said. They like bikes and what they do.

I wanted to buy an Argon 18, but no one in Washington or Oregon sells them. Only one shop in Victoria sells them and several in Vancouver. I sent emails to all these shops and Mark at Straight Up responded first. He was very helpful and had great information. Based on this, I went from Seattle to Victoria for a few days to see the bike, try it out, and maybe buy it.
Mark spent 4 hours with me. Measuring me, switching out the stem, saddle, and tires, installing new pedals and getting everything just right so I could take it out for a spin. WOW - it felt great. Much
