I've been going to this bakery since I was a kid, and there's no other place I'd rather go for a tasty treat. My entire family is obsessed with their brandysnaps and French wafers! Every big family dinner is finished with their treats for dessert and the lady that's always working is so kind and wonderful, I always love seeing her

Awful service. Walked in and didn't get a hello. She just stood there glaring at me. It felt awkward. I don't know how fresh their baked goods are. And the display case was full of flies.
Everything looked like it was days old. Either dried out or soggy or melted. All the baked goods just looked so stale. I ordered a Nanaimo bar. It was so dry it was rock hard.
The cashier didn't say please or thank you when I paid or have a good day or goodbye. So grumpy like she was annoyed I came in. I think the owner needs to hire someone new with better customer service. Or if she is the owner she needs

I'm from Denmark and I can testify that they do a great job at making Danishes and other baking goods. Some classics are missing, and they do tend to take the marzipan approach quite often, but I personally love marzipan so I don't really mind. They deserve 5 stars for embarking on something so unique as Danish bakings goods.

Unfortunately it was challenging to take pictures re I did not want to hold up people waiting outside due to covid and the limit of 2 customers at a time. So it was in, buy, and out.
Everything looked tasty but we just got some almond slices this time. They had a layer of apricot jam, and I think either some marzipan or almond essence in the cake.
They were delicious. A good size for the price. Very moist and full of almond flavour with some nice tang from the apricot. I would definitely get these again.

We bought a large selection of goodies and each was wonderful. The carrot cake was amazing and a treat we now crave often. Brownies, marzipan squares, almond bars, chocolate buttercream and raspberry stuffed pastries and delicate lacey rolled filled with chocolate cream were some of our favourites. To die for almond cookies! Literally everything was delicious!

Stopped by here on my way home yesterday. Grabbed a sausage roll, apple turnover, rum ball, and a marzipan bar.
The sausage roll was quite pricy for the size, however there is a ton of filling. The taste was lacking a bit for me, almost like it needs salt or some kind of spice. I might have committed the ultimate sin by dipping it in ketchup just to get that salt.
The turnover was crispy and flaky, but soft inside with tons of filling which was great! My pregnant wife definitely approved.
The rum ball was nice and soft with not a ton of rum flavor, which is perfect for me. It had chocolate

Brunkager a danish ginger cookie that is more flavourful that gingerbread and has more of a crunch.
Kranskage a marzipan cookie like cake. beautiful and delicious, you can get these in the traditional ring cake or cookie form.
The Jamaican patty is extremely tasty, great to grab for a quick meal, spiced enough to have some heat, but not enough to make you regret it.
Too many things to list them all, but all of them are tasty bits of concentrated happiness.

How does this bakery have no reviews??? Have bought two birthday cakes there in the last month. Really really good, and iced with I think slightly sugared whipped cream. The chocolate raspberry cake was our favorite. I think it was around $19 for an 8-inch cake. Way better than any grocery store cake.
