Alta Vista Animal Hospital's clinic cat, Sherlock, knows first hand the struggles of keeping lean and trim! Being a notorious food and treat stealer, he has now reached a massive 7.7 kg weight. It is for this reason that he (we) have decided to start him on his new journey to reach his goal weight of 5 kg.
I have seen a lot in my day. For quite some time now I have inspected the many rescue kittens that have come into my office from my secret hiding spot. I wish I could keep all of my kitten friends, but seeing how happy the kittens make you humans, I have decided to. My cat Ruca came down with a mysterious illness a few months ago, so I've been spending a lot of time at Alta Vista Animal Hospital. The staff here is wonderful, they are always welcoming and friendly and seem genuinely interested in how Ruca is feeling. Dr. Munjal has been great at explaining all our options with each visit and actually tries to… keep the costs down for us instead of pushing for expensive tests or treatments. I looked into the prices at other vets for the same treatments we have done and Alta Vista has very reasonable prices, while still offering knowledgeable and friendly

Not only do I love working here, but I always find myself here when I'm off duty too. Whether it is to grab something for my pets, check in on my favourite work team, or visit Sherlock and Jaguar. Dunbar is a very tight knit community and Alta Vista reflects that "family feel" when caring for your pets. It is such a relief to have reliable, real… heartfelt vet care for your loved ones!
