Nicole has been FABULOUS! I can’t even put into words just how much I love my hair, it’s so fun and different and more amazing than I could asked for. I had my hair cut and styled by Kat and she was extraordinary! Not only did she do an exceptional job at cutting my thin hair into super fun curtain bangs with lots of depth and layers, but also her energy and conversation was amazing. It's hard to find a hair stylist that can understand your hair needs and wants when you have thin hair, so working with Kat was a godsend. I will definitely return for her expertise and energy.

I went to Citrus for the first time because of a personal recommendation. I had the difficult task of removing and covering up red hair. At first I was a bit disappointed with the outcome but the salon team worked with me to make me happier after my second visit. The customer service was wonderful and I will definitely be going back!

Just an ok - average hair salon experience. I went in for a consultation beforehand and when I came to get my hair done, my stylist seemed very confused and said we didn't have enough time booked even though she was the one who made the appointment after the consultation. Overall, I just didn't really like the vibe of the salon and my stylist didn't have the best customer service. Super disappointed with part of my experience at Citrus. I've just moved to the area and was looking for a new cut, colour, and extensions salon - this one was highly rated so I booked.

Consultation:

Went in ~2 weeks before my appointment for a consultation. Went fine & I was happy with our plan. We decided on just a cut & colour across 2 stylists - no extensions for a bit.

I'm a bit late leaving a review, but I got my hair cut about a month ago by Dierdre. My hair was down to my waist and I wanted to do something drastic and get it cut very short (pixie short). Dierdre helped me figure out what style would work best and then she did an incredible job cutting it. I loved it the moment it was done and I still love it a month later. I highly recommend her :) Citrus also was able to donate my hair for me, which I really appreciate! I also bought a nice pomade from them that I now use every day.

I just wanted to say, if you are looking for a place that will go the extra mile for you and your hair extension needs, this place is amazing. I have been making my own for years but this was my first experience with Tape-ins and Dierdre did such an amazing job! She permed the pieces to my natural curl pattern, lifted them to my natural colour and then let me take them home and henna them because that's what I've always done to my natural hair. Her and her assistant put them in so quickly and painlessly... They seriously look so natural that even die hard extension-ers are shocked when I tell them

Was my first time here and overall really happy with the experience. Told the hair stylist that I wanted to avoid damage to my virgin hair and she went with all my needs and I’m happy with the way my hair turned out (got very subtle highlights done). Asked her for a blunt bob hair cut and it turned out very nice. Only issue I had was that later when I was at home I noticed that there was a chunk of hair by my right ear that was quite noticeably longer than the rest of my hair, and then I realized that it was because the hair was pulled up into the strap of my face mask while she was cutting it

However, when I spoke with the receptionist on the phone I was advised they require a 50.00 non refundable deposit to secure an appointment at the salon. Apparently it's mandatory for new clients. Unfortunately I feel it's an unreasonable request, particularly for potential new clients as we too accept significant risk by trusting our hair with a new salon and new stylist, not to mention doing so without firm costing established before hand.
On principle I have decided not to try this salon.

I've recommended Citrus to at least a dozen people over the past five years. The salon is just so clean and refreshing, and the staff are truly amazing. I've had color and cuts with many of the stylists and it always turns out beautiful (Heather, Meaghan, Emily, Kim, and some others). They are super caring and professional and make you feel absolutely pampered. I always leave in a much happier mood! Meaghan did a wonderful balayage on my hair last summer and she managed to make my hair look so much more alive and healthy. She is very talented, meticulous, and pleasant to chat with!

This review is for 2xvisits. I met with Gypsy for a consult on my hair. (I had a horrible highlight experience that was haunting me) I really needed a fix! Complementary consult! Grateful for my mommy makeover by Raana! After dealing with postpartum lackluster locks for almost a year I finally booked an appointment for color and extensions. At my consult Raana explained I first needed a color correction before matching Bellami fusion extensions to achieve the look I desired based on several photos I shared. She was also provided options and estimates for the cost of the extensions. I paid a deposit for my color appointment and booked in for the following week.

I needed an emergency appointment to fix some bad highlights (done somewhere else) and the owner of Citrus, Antonella offered to put me on the cancellation list for that day, and booked me in for the next day. Already amazing.

Everyone I interacted with in the salon was so lovely, I was offered the usual drink of coffee, water etc...but they also handed out free snacks! There's a more robust, paid menu for hungrier clients - super thoughtful addition for long appointments like hair extensions.

I've been going to Citrus for 2ish years now. I had the best cut of my life the first time I went here, I have been visiting Caitlin ever since bc homegirl knows what she's doing and each cut is always the best.

I've never had short hair before. I trusted Caitlin to chop off about 12 inches last month - and my goodness, she KILLED it. I've never loved my hair so much nor have I ever gotten so many compliments.
